He has loads of Championship football under his belt, he is part of a successful Wales team with fantastic team spirit (actually looks like he gives a dam!) and whilst he clearly isn't a top top player he is certainly good enough for our level. He also had a season in the Premier League with Reading I believe. Only 27 years old too. That fact he is on a free transfer is appealing too.

Never said they are not football fans. They are morons though. My point was that someone like myself (who has no intention of hitting other people because of the colour of their football top or where they are from etc) and others of similar ilk do not deserve to get hit, bottled, abused or whatever just because of the actions of other people. You cannot dispute that!

don't buy that. I see hooligans as separate people to the everyday people. There are people getting caught up in stuff that don't deserve to be. Those who want to fight then to a degree, fine. But those who don't it's bloody disgusting. So "we" haven't got ourselves to blame. You're not at fault for the actions of other people.

Problem with that is there are bound to be people there for the first time following England. There will be a lot of people there who have no intention of being violent or ever cause trouble but what do you do if you're attacked? You have to defend yourself. I think this situation applies to fans from all countries. Minorities are spoiling it and attacking people who don't want trouble too.

You must be watching BBC1 too. I was shocked he had no club and Googled to check. Seasoned player in the Championship with a bit of grit about him. Things we are definitely lacking.

It's always a minority from any country I suppose. The issue I see is that people not looking for trouble are being attacked and then they have to defend themselves. The police from each nation should stay close to where the fans are gathering and then the French police could spread out and attend where needed. With that in place I'd think a lot of the trouble would be prevented. Someone is going to get killed out there and it could be someone caught up in it who really doesn't want to fight. All over football as well. Morons!

Wales look pretty good. I'd agree with what Savage said in the build up that Williams, Ramsey and Bale would get into the England side. Going to be a tough match v Wales!

Not a priority position RB as we have ok players for there, however I think Gunter would be an upgrade on Hutton. 26 years old plays for Reading. Obviously going to be loads of links now based on who we say playing at the Euros but I like his attitude and commitment - not missed a Wales game for 3 years!

I don't feel that excited about the tournament. I can't say I've seen anything in the way of build up promotional material at all. Maybe I'll get into it more if I draw France for the sweepstake

Useless fact of the day - the orange properties are most likely to be landed on because of how close they are to Jail. There are several cards and also a dedicated square that send you to jail. When a player eventually gets out rolling a 6, 8 or 9 are quite good odds. So there - get all the oranges with hotels and you should win!

Then you shouldn't hint at people being crap at their jobs as the reason they've left. It's pretty clear - club goes down, loses income and has to make cutbacks when the future is uncertain. It's nothing to do with any of their abilities!!! If it was they'd have been released or fired during our Premier League era.

So you're saying someone like Lorna or Jack Woodward held the club back in a sense? Please.They worked tirelessly for Villa and added a lot of value - AVTV bought income and generated exposure. Lorna is very talented speaking 3 or 4 languages and helped with players, managers and making sure the engine ran. Clubs that are at the top have these kinds of people employed so they do add value. It is just very sad that they lose out thanks to other people.

Lorna was superb for AVFC and well liked amongst players 100%. Tom Fox is a moron.

I agree with this. He can come back from injury here and we don't need to sell so long as Xia passes everything. We could have a very solid squad and a big shot at promotion - if we can bounce straight back then we have a chance of keeping him.
