I'm not sure they're going to replace Purslow, think the Heck appointment & maybe Monchi covers what Purslow was doing, maybe wrong mind.

Did Purslow walk because he don't like the idea of the new guy coming in just a different twist on it.

Nervous about this appointment, we had such a steady hand in Purslow, yes he has made mistakes, who doesn't, but overall Purslow has been good for us steering us from the Championship to European football in 5 years. I know Monchi is a god like figure at Sevilla, but he was a car crash at Roma. The only comforting thing is that he has Emery by his side now so nothing to worry about.

My point was more Williams stats are very similar to Baileys this season & Bailey divides opinion on hear, so spending around £50 million on someone with similar stats may cause this site to explode if he doesn't begin well (if we sign him) I get they play different wings but still have to be seen to be scoring & providing goals

Really like the idea of Nico Williams but I think it's because he is so young & has bags of potential, the reason I say but is because we were in this position when we signed Leon Bailey, youtube vids, alot of hype also, this is my thing tho, Bailey gets alot of stick on here & I do see where people are coming from at times he can be frustrating but his numbers this season aren't great but also not bad 33 games 4 goals 4 assists, Nico Williams numbers are 36 games 6 goals 4 assists so very similar & you can throw in his youtube video & all the hype. Thing is this transfer could cost us in the region of £50 million. How will the Villa faithful take to him after 10 games & he hasn't contributed, if we go based on Bailey's time here, their going to have a melt down. For what it's worth I think will see a good Bailey next season & hopefully a flying Nico Williams if he signs

Superb bit of business this, so much depth in our midfield now, Kamara, Dougie, Tielemans, Mcginn, Ramsey, Dendonker. Admittedly he's fall off abit over the last 12 months or so but people saying he's overweight, legs have gone he's 26yrs old ffs can be a number of things regards his recent form, leicester been dog awful, manager Brendon Rogers. What we have here is a player potentially in his prime, international & European experience & under a manager in Unai Emery who is known to get the best out of players, its what he his brilliant at we've seen it 1st hand ever since he walked into the club. Think we've got a baller here once Emery has got his hands on him & shaped him to how we play. Great work Lange & Co very well play.

Reading that article fills me with some trepidation, he has been good for sevilla by the sounds of things but also seems to be alot of drama, specially while he was at Roma his stint there did go well by all accounts. But if Emery wants him who am I or we to judge

London club that's why all the press, guarantee we make the final next season won't be half the press coverage of us there. I'm pleased for West Ham winning it it breaks the norm of the usual suspects winning it & the get to go again in the Europa next season.
