Very good friend of mine has passed away today aged 41, had a brain hemorrhage despite being a fit lad, bloody gutted.

General, Could i please forward my son - Harley, aged 5, for the job of one of your 'advisors' when we next need a manager? Despite his young age, as a season ticket holder and someone who watches every game he can on TV (be it Man U, Barca, 1860 Munich or Yeovil) he knows the game very well and has developed a vast football knowledge and will only charge 2 packs of Match Attax and a Fab lolly.. I've not had the heart to tell him that your considering AM yet, not cause we are anti Blues as we live in Cheshire, so dont get caught up too much in that, but just because he really wont understand why and how do i explain that one?? It will be an absolute disgrace if we appoint him General. If this is the best our board could come up with then god help us. People have been taking the piss for the last 2 weeks about the trash we've been linked with and I laughed it off saying that Aston Villa FC's board would pull something good off..... General, if this happens, i was very wrong to trust you. On the plus side though, Mrs Bebbinton will be very happy, she'll have her Husband and 2 Sons back at weekends after many years, and with the money we save from 3 season tickets and attending 90% of away games, a nice holiday of her choice

General, I think we all understand the the manager doesn't play the game on the pitch... Here is my question though, If you were a player, and your manager didn't think that the team you played in had any chance of winning that game, how would you feel? Maybe a little bit de-motivated?

Hi General, As a season ticket holder for many years, who attends with his 2 children (aged 5 and 10), also season ticket holders, could you please explain to us what Aston Villa Football Club expect to win next, or at least compete in? From when i first started to watch football i used to dream of my team winning the F.A Cup, from 9am of cup final day watching the coverage, looking on in envy and my children are the same now. The youngest playing his PS3, trying his best to win it, playing in the garden against teams like Brighton, working his way to the final. If Aston Villa Football Club is not going to compete in the FA Cup anymore if we draw some team deemed as "better than us", realistically we're not going to win the league or challenge the top 4/5, what exactly are we aiming for? I've booked my Everton tickets and reserved my travel for West Ham, so my commitment is there, i believe we can win those games, does the manager? Or will i be wasting more of my money and time off? Sorry to rant General, but i've had 2 weeks now to chill out about the F.A Cup game we threw and i'm still mightly p****d off..

Hi General, As a supporter that goes every game home and away, i keep getting asked this question by everyone i see, whether at work, at the pub or anywhere i go (and i live in Cheshire) What exactly were we resting our best players for? I live 50 miles from Villa Park and even here everyone is still talking about it.

Hi General, Firstly a big thank you to the club for putting on the signing sessions this week at the Villa village, my 5 year old loved it. Next though i wanted to know your opinion on why 2 senior players in Darren Bent and Richard Dunne saw fit to walk out of the sessions before all of the kids had the chance to meet them. We were 'lucky' enough to be in time to see Bent on Tuesday, but then on Thursday despite loads of people queing for hours outside Richard Dunne leaves after 1 hour, leaving loads of kids disapointed. Is it really too much to expect these people, who are paid more in 1 week than most of the people in the queue earn in a year, to give up a little extra time and make sure the kids leave happy?

Just back from the game, what a difference 5 days makes! After City away which in my opinion bar Liverpool was the most gutless performance for years, a different Villa team turn up and make me proud again, well done lads

Bit of advice please if anyone can help, i booked 3 tickets for City away and was meant to collect them before yesterdays game, i totally forgot until today and the ticket office was closed today when i rang! As tickets are availible on the day, could i get a refund on mine off Villa then just pay on the gate or is it too late? I live in Cheshire so really dont want to drive to Birminham if i can help it!
