If they get it then the crowd will get restless, the demons will be out and I just can't see how an already fragile Villa will get back into it. Having said that I am going 2-1 win

I'm wondering has Jol achieved more or less in the game than Houllier? Less, by some considerable margin. I dont quite get why people seem to have this fixation with Jol. I for one would have Houllier over Jol all day long

I am a supporter of Aston Villa Football Club. I was here before Houllier and Thompson and I will be here a long time after. I have seen countless players come and go and a fair few managers, assistant managers and coaches come and go too. While they are here and are doing a job for my Football Club they will get my support, until such time that I lose respect for what they are doing. Noboby on this board as far as I am aware has access to a machine that can see into the future. So therefore nobody can possibly know what will happen with Houllier and Thompson at the helm. So lets get our heads out of the clouds and accept that the powers that be have done the best they can to secure a new management team that they feel can be a success at Aston Villa. Lets get behind them and give them as much support we can to make sure they are a success, something surely we would all like to see

I am wondering if the job has been sold to Houllier as part of a team in a DOF format or is he expecting to come in and be the boss. If the former is true and he is OK with that then he must feel that it can work
