He just doesn't look lively at all. Jogging around in the box never looks alert and half arsed chasing of the second ball.

Gaffer needs to have words with him. Give him another 20 minutes and if no improvement take him off for Duran. He'll be lively just needs the composure to go with it.

Personally think he would do OK with decent players around him. Good squad player, free transfer, lowish wages. Might not be the ludicrous transfer people think. Would be nice to see him in the Prem again.

I liked El Ghazi and wasn't sure about offloading him at the time as he was a decent goal scorer just very inconsistent. Would probably do alright with decent players around him.

Early days and it's a long season. I always take these kind of comments with a pinch of salt because its easy to have the default thought of questionable attitude etc. When he gets his chance he just needs to show what he can do.

Pau is clearly comfortable on the ball but you can't take time and space for granted in the Premer League. Fortunately most teams arent as good as Liverpool as exposing a (badly executed) high line and the midfield definitely do the defenders any favours with their lack of pressing, but it was certainly a wake a up call. Also ideally he'll learn how to be a bit of a bully like Mings. He needs to toughen up and be more aggressive when needed. Early days though and Unai will probably smooth out the teething problems.
