Ollie obviously going through one of his "needs a goal" spells. I'm not overly concerned but like everyone else been wanting another top out and out striker for ages now. Seemed well off it today in terms of work rate which is unusual but when the whole team struggles a negative mentality spreads like poison.

Well they only had to beat what was in front of them. Clearly we couldn't handle what they had so happy to give them credit. We were pish and you can't go to Anfield with your pants round your ankles from the get go.

Onwards and upwards boys and girls. Annoying performance but there will be better days. No point stewing over this. Liverpool have been excellent v a very poor Villa. Lots of areas for Unai to get stuck into and work his magic.

Playing with a much more measured approach i think. Seems to be biding his time recently and happy to pass back instead of running like a headless chicken into a dead end. Work rate is decent. Slowly but surely working out what Unai wants him to do!

He's a quality shot stopper who lacks command and precence in his area. I still maintain he'll improve from gametime this season. For the time being happy to have him as backup. Did well tonight.

Why isn't there any actual photos of the terrace view facilities on the official website? (The cynic in me says stinky marketing ploy and it looks nothing like the CGI images )
