If it was at Anfield I wouldn't expect a thing, however it'll be another full house at Villa Park, could we possibly hold the champions of Europe to a draw for a much needed point?

Don't think that sort of signing will happen in January but next summer once we have secured a place in the league.

You obviously know they have the same amount, however I do think in this Villa team Maupay would have scored more. Not knocking Wes just think Maupay is a better player imo.

Should start for Jack whilst he's out, in that forward left position. Keep a consistent midfield with Luiz, Marvelous and McGinn. Not keen on having Trez and AEG both starting I prefer one of them available to come on as fresh legs.

It's the one position I think we desperately need to sign. We have a hit and miss performer as first choice and an unproven struggling to score second choice. If we had signed Maupay I don't think this thread would have even been started. I know he's scored the same amount of goals as Wes, but in this team I reckon he would have had more.!

Be interesting to see what team the dingles put out with Arsenal Saturday Europa mid week then us again in the PL, they haven't got a huge amount of strength in depth and probably need to prioritise and rotate.

Great team selection by DS VAR WTF!! We played really well first half but there quality showed in the end, not overly bothered but thought we could have defended better at times. Wesley oh Wesley.....Davis did more in 20 mins than you did in 70!

Just watching the Southampton game they really deserved that spanking they were proper crap!

From mid December through to the end of Feb we have some really winnable games apart from Man city, that period could make or break our season.

I hope not manure will improve at some point they just have to much quality, a loss for Norwich will be better for us in the long run I feel.
