  1. No, you were also saying that if he does join us he may take off and leave when the first offer from a bigger club comes along. There's so many ifs, buts and maybes that I don't even know where to begin.
  2. Thank you for typing pretty much exactly what I wanted to say but couldn't be arsed to.
  3. I'd be gutted if McKennie goes to Southampton. He's exactly what we need.
  4. Remember the way we do business now. Most of the signings we made last summer came out of nowhere. I'd never even heard of Douglas Luiz as we hadn't even been linked with him. I really think the media don't have much of a clue.
  5. Nah, he's finished. He's looked a complete shadow of himself for the last couple of years. He suffers from some metabolic disease that causes fatigue and weight gain. Can't see him playing top level football for much longer.
  6. I think Gotze is not far off finished sadly. He's struggled with illness recently which is a shame because he was a great player. Can see him retiring within the next couple of years.
  7. According to the Worum, we've included lots of add ons and bonuses which equate to a very good deal for Werder.
  8. Using the Google Translate extension in Chrome. I've set it to automatically translate any page in German to English.
  9. They're just quoting the original Kosovan journalist from here... Translation: Milot Rashica will not play tomorrow in the friendly of Werder Bremen against LASK. The club wants not to risk Rashica suffering any injury that could affect the transfer. Aston Villa is the team that has met Werder's demands for the amount desired by the Germans, but the transfer depends a lot on the player himself. Milot's desire is to play in the Champions League.
  10. This is the original WIP on the Worum. I think there's been a development and he knows what.
  11. He's clearly got too many fingers too.
  12. It's a gorgeous top. Reminds me of our Luke away shirt from 18/19, which happens to be my favourite away shirt ever.
  13. Reports that Brentford have agreed a fee for Ivan Toney. Bet we'll see movement on Watkins at some point this week.
  14. Exactly. Why are people stressing? It's essentially the first week of pre-season as of today. In a normal transfer window, nothing much happens in June as players are on holiday. It all starts in July when they're back. It's kind of like the first week of July now. Absolutely no reason to panic.
  15. I personally don't rate him as highly as most fans but I'll be happy if he stays. Means we won't have to replace him and I think he's going to get better. But I do think he's still got a lot of improvement to make.
  16. Apparently Leipzig's offer is way, way off Werder's valuation and we're prepared to pay significantly higher wages.
  17. Signings generally aren't made in the order of priority. The club will be working on several deals at once. Sometimes a lesser priority signing gets completed first. It doesn't mean other deals aren't being worked on. Also, we have 4 senior keeper, two of which will be leaving and 2 have been injured for most of 2020.
  18. Reina has gone. Kalinic will leave. Smith has rightly lost faith in Nyland so I'd imagine he will leave. That leaves us with Heaton who is not yet back from a long term injury and Steer who has also had a history of long term injuries. We clearly need a keeper.
  19. Yeah, exactly what the two above said. More options = better squad. I'm a firm believer that you need at least two players for every position on the pitch. McKennie would be a fantastic option. Also, more competition for places produces better quality performances. He's well worth the £25m. Absolutely no doubt. Also, he can fill in in numerous positions (RB, wide midfielder).
  20. Yeah, McKennie would be an absolute game changer of a signing for us. The type of player who'd come here and probably win player of the year in his first season. I really, really hope we're in for him.
  21. You have to seriously question the general direction of your life if you spend your Sunday evenings tweeting BS by imitating a journalist who generally knows nothing anyway.
  22. Fake account. Although, it's probably equally as reliable as the real account.
