  1. Definitely reminds me of that. Looks like a few of the Werder fans have tried to join here but are having difficulty.
  2. They've had the same idea. I love these guys
  3. RUNNING TRACK!!! I hate running tracks. It's an athletics arena, not a football stadium. The seats behind the goals are about 3 miles from the pitch.
  4. In terms of current owners and cash, yes but on history, no. Werder Bremen are historically a bigger club, with better fans and a better stadium. I hate Berlin's ground.
  5. Yes, massive derby. Werder are definitely the good guys.
  6. They're not as likeable. They seem to have always had a bit more arrogance about them. They're more like Leeds.
  7. I'd recommend it. They are the German club most like us. A proper old fashioned club with a rich history and big fanbase. I'd love to go to one of their home games. The ground looks so picturesque where it's located in the city and their support is very passionate, like ours.
  8. It's too painful to think of it not happening now. I've really set myself up to be disappointed now. All part and parcel of being a Villa fan.
  9. You can't argue with the evidence Werder's season was arguably even more stressful than ours, if that's possible to believe. The relegation play off was not comfortable viewing.
  10. They seem like a great bunch of fans actually, quite like us lot. Enthusiastic fans of a big club who have struggled recently. I thought there must have been a reason they've been my second team all these years. Particularly liked this one:
  11. Absolutely no doubt about that. They'd have been relegated without him, no question at all.
  12. Just look at that burst of pace at 1:23!
  13. No. They knew he was 100% going this summer. They just don't want him to go to Leipzig who are hated in Germany and they want a good fee to reinvest in their squad, which believe me badly needs re-building.
  14. Did you not read my post directly above this?!? Now you've given me even more hope! Also, from what I can tell they just seem happy he's not going to RB Leipzig. They really are hated in Germany.
  15. I'm now at the point where I'm scared what it will do to me when we don't sign him! It's the hope that kills you
  16. And most of these videos are him playing against Bayern too. This isn't some dodgy Belgian team's defence.
  17. Shhhhh In fairness, that was very out of character and his only mistake of the game. I put it down to him almost trying too hard that day.
  18. Haha I had the sound off so can't comment. Yeah, it's definitely pronounced Ra-shitz-sa.
  19. I have to agree. I think he was good post lockdown but I fear he's become a little bit overrated. I think he's got a lot of potential and I do rate him highly but he's still got a lot of improvement and hard work ahead.
  20. I posted this in the Rashica thread but thought I'd put it here too. For those who haven't seen much of Rashica, this is the best video I've found that pretty much sums him up in a nutshell... He's lethal running at defences in a central position. Such an exciting player. Also, there's this video too. This was the last game of the season, Bremen needed to win and potentially by 4 goals in order to stay up. Rashica was absolutely incredible. Highlights include his goal starting at 1:06, his run through the middle and shot at 1:55 and possibly my favourite, his assist at 2:50.
