    Never really been interested in following England much but what little support for the team and manager I did have is now gone.

    That's surprising that you think you'll only spend the Rashica money on a direct replacement. I think you could do with a top quality centre back too as I'm not convinced by those already at the club. The injury list was ridiculous last season though. I'm looking forward to seeing what difference a fully fit Fullkrug will make next season.

    However, the best thing about signing Abraham would be that Grealish would be even more likely to stay so I certainly wouldn't be against signing him. I just wouldn't go as high as £50m.

    I don't rate him that highly. He's good but not great. And certainly not as valuable to Chelsea as Grealish is to us.

    Agreed. I personally wouldn't want to spend more than £30m on Abraham which Chelsea probably wouldn't sell him for anyway. £50m is too much.

    I'd be happy enough with Abraham but I think we'd need another striker as well.

    Yes, a lot of my posts are based on my opinions. Sometimes they're based on facts too. But it's always important that I differentiate between the two.

    Exactly. When Terry joined he said he wanted to be a manager one day and this was his way of earning his stripes. He'll be off when the right job comes along and I'll wish him well. Shakespeare is an improvement on him as a joint number 2 (joint with O'Kelly of course) in all honesty.

    Completely and utterly baseless assumption. We have big time owners only interested in getting this club to the top and their backup plan to Smith one day leaving or being sacked is Shakespeare??? That guy who has only been a manager once in his life. OR, or his appointment could be more like, I don't know, let's say because he has a long history with Smith (back to their playing days at Walsall) and he's a Villa fan with family in the midlands and is renowned as being a top quality number two and the likelihood that Terry will be off soon?

    Absolute nonsense. People weren't getting angry and you didn't just "suggest it". You were adamant that your interpretation was correct and were extremely condescending to anyone who had a different opinion. Nobody was angry at you for giving your opinion on the matter. You're entitled to have an opinion. You just wouldn't accept that people had different opinions and people rightly reacted to that.
