It's well known that the Werder Bremen squad are flying to their training camp today. I don't think he'd post that picture if he was flying off somewhere else. He's almost certainly with them.

Do any of our German friends know if Rashica has travelled with the squad to the training camp? I've read he won't be playing any friendlies but wondered if he'd still travelled or not.

Ah okay, I know a little bit about him but never seen him play. He's meant to be good. I think you need a new centre back and defensive midfielder too.

Surely it must have been Wesley Sneijder during Julie's first breakdown. That one seemed to go on for months.

He struggled to settle when he first joined in January 2018, not at the start of this season. This season he was absolutely on fire. The leap from the Bundesliga to the Premier League is not as big as you think. It's a quality league. And he's a quality player who would be absolutely perfect for us. I really hope the transfer goes through.

Good points. I kind of just meant when some Brits travel abroad and can be a bit arrogant and expect the locals to speak perfect English. I think it's good to make a bit of an effort to speak the local language.

We do have quite a bit more than that, to be fair. There's three ITK/WIPs on the Werder Bremen forum who claim a deal is at an advanced stage, the Kosovan journalist who has claimed the same thing (this is a guy who has been pictured with Rashica in the past so he clearly knows him) and then there was Nakamba's teasing Instragram picture the other day, which he turned the comments off. We've also been linked with him for a year. There were strong rumours we wanted him January. Smoke and fire.

The picture of him STANDING NEXT TO Rashica was a big clue too, wasn't it? He's clearly not an unknown.
