  1. What's your source on this? Would be amazing if true. Maybe finally Julie would finalise the deal for Hiroshi Kiyotake!
  2. I haven't the first clue what any of these documents on companies house mean. In layman's terms does anybody have any idea what this Statement of capital following an allotment of shares document means?
  3. Completely agree. I think he's been awful every time I've seen him play for England. We look a way better team without him. He's just a bit of a luxury player for me.
  4. Because I think he has the attributes and style of play to be a more complete footballer than Alli. Not looking at him favourably because I'm a Villa fan at all, I just think he'll be a better player. It's just gutting that he almost certainly won't become that player for us. I'm surprised you don't think he'll be better than him to be honest.
  5. His first season at MK Dons was 13/14, the same season Grealish was on loan at Notts County and was an absolute star. Look at the stats for both that season. They're very similar. Since then Grealish has been hampered by one thing or another. Give him the opportunity to play at the same level as Alli and I believe he will be better.
  6. That's it though isn't it? Alli has had the opportunities. He's been playing with quality players, which has obviously brought him on more than it would have done if he was playing in a crap team like Grealish has been. Grealish hasn't had that chance, but has still been absolutely quality in a pretty bad team. Would Alli have been as good if he was playing for us these past 3 years, probably not. Let's just see who is the better player this time 3 years from now...
  7. Whoever runs that twitter account is just an attention seeking loser. Ignore him.
  8. Play Grealish in a good team and I guarantee we'll see that he is better than Alli. Play Alli in a crap team like ours and he'd have nowhere near the influence on us that Grealish does.
  9. Yes, replacing Terry is definitely the priority.
  10. His last goal was on the 4th December. Hardly prolific is he? I saw him a fair few times and he looked way off the pace. Would be a bad signing in my opinion.
  11. Yeah, agreed. Leeds could be brilliant or awful, I'm not sure either way yet haha. Forest are definitely one to watch as they're obviously trying to do a Wolves, but their signings could easily be flops. My main worry is about Middlesbrough and Pulips. He could turn them into the 1-0 kings next season. But I'm absolutely sure there's nothing in the league to fear at all. IF we can build a team, there's every chance we can compete.
  12. How reliable is your source? Really hope what you've heard is right. It would be the most important signing we've ever made.
  13. Yes, but as we've proven over the past two seasons, money does not guarantee success does it? I think all three teams coming down will be in a transitional period of rebuilding and starting from fresh. All three, West Brom in particular, will be keeping an eye on our situation right now and won't want to spend silly money and risk ending up in our position. Swansea and West Brom both have unproven managers too. Yes, Darren Moore did well at the end of the season but I honestly think most of that was down to him not being Pardew. Give him a first full season in the Championship and I'm not so sure he'll do that well. I genuinely see it being a lot tighter at the top this season, I just hope we can build the squad to be up there with them.
  14. Yeah, definitely. Stoke and West Brom are in a complete mess. What first teamers have they actually got that are any good anyway? I think both will have to completely rebuild and start again. Plus, now Stoke have got the bottler Rowett so I honestly don't expect either of them to be that good. Swansea have also taken a punt on unknown manager, so not expecting much from them either. All three are absolutely nothing to be feared at all. I just can't see them being anywhere near the standard of Newcastle, Brighton, Wolves and Fulham. I think the top of the table will be a lot, lot closer this year. Two of the best sides to play in the league for ages went up and I just don't see the quality there to replace them. There's so much dross in the league, that if finances aren't as bad as feared and we can somehow put a decent side together, then we can do well. The two sides I've got an eye on would be Middlesbrough and Forest.
  15. Absolutely nobody! I think this is going to be the poorest standard of football in the league for quite a few years.
  16. He literally is the worst "journalist" ever. Can't stand him and his pathetic incessant clickbait nonsense.
  17. Nah, wasn't impressed with him last night at all.
  18. I think a lot of things need to happen before we can start to see some genuine progress. Right now, it is purely about staying afloat.
  19. What would you rather happen? We lose a versatile, experienced and totally one hundred percent committed professional who always give his all and is even willing to take a pay cut to stay here and fight for the cause? And are left with a team of scumbags like Richards and McCormack who are happy to sit on their backsides earning a fortune every week. Now that would be depressing! We need players with his attitude and commitment now more than ever.
  20. Has taken a big pay cut to stay here. What a legend. Need more players with this attitude.
