I honestly don't think we're talking about a rational human being here. I genuinely think he's away in cloud cuckoo land, completely out of touch with reality. I almost feel sorry for him really.

I can't see how our situation could get a lot worse really. I'm surprised we were in a position to turn down 5 million. If they know that there's no way we're going to get more than that for him and in a few weeks we'll probably get even less than that, then why not just accept and take the 5 million?

I prefer to think they do know something and we're going to get taken over by a multi billionaire who knows how to run a football club and will take us to the Champions league within 3 seasons. I like my story better than yours.

But Stoke have already offered 5 million for Chester, which we rejected. How much lower can they go?

I've been thinking all along "why haven't we sold players yet?" If we're so desperate for cash, then we surely would have sold someone by now. But no, nothing at all. It's got to be quiet for a reason. Maybe it's because we are actually in the process of a takeover. I'm beginning to think it's more and more likely we are.

I don't care how much they cost. The club needs all the money it can get. I'd buy them if they cost £100.

Yeah, the sensible thing would be to not let him anywhere near us again. Everything about the club is toxic at the moment, why would letting a fat, useless, greedy waste of space anywhere near the first team be sensible? Absolute fraud of a footballer.

This is what the problem is I think. I do think he does have some ability, but he lacks confidence. I remember every time he got the ball he seemed to want to get rid of it as soon as possible. Look terrified to make a mistake.

It's a real shame. I remember he looked outstanding in the youth team and I was excited to see him for the first team, but as soon as he got his chance he got those injuries. Might have been a great player. Hopefully he still can be, it would be like a new signing for us.

He's had two career threatening injuries since then though. Unfortunately, he's just not the player we thought he might be. I'd love him to come good but those injuries just killed him at a very important stage of his career.
