  1. I was thinking Michael B Jordan would have been a good shout to replace him, but as he was the villain in the first film I don’t know if that’d work What a terrible shame. A lovely bloke by all accounts. RIP
  2. I disagree mate. Honestly feel bad for their fans today. I watched their games against City and Saints and they deserved more. They’ve stuck with Howe who has done wonders there but that loyalty may have cost them in the end
  3. I for one Gents, are going to be really amicable to all those fans who danced on our graves these past few months . . . naaaaaart Villa forever you beauties! Love you all! Don’t ever forget we are a stalwart side. Don’t ever forget, don’t every forget! Villa forever!
  4. Anyone know the address of the word removed who put together that ‘Villa going down down down down down’ song? Asking for a friend.
  5. Thankfully I’ve been drinking his half one to be able to sit through this.
  6. £25 for a BT monthly pass to listen to Cabbage . . . .
  7. That was comical. The same match where Steven Taylor took a bullet wasn’t it?
  8. Think that sentiment is echoed with a lot of people sadly mate. I’ve resigned myself to the fact we’re going down now to be honest. Take a few scalps if possible but we’re not staying up.
  9. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but has anyone ever seen V for Vendetta? Where the pathogen is released by the government and they’re all big shareholders in the pharmaceutical company which makes the vaccine! Now if you’ll excuse me I’m selling tin hats on eBay and need to make more.
  10. Just seen this on Sky News that he ‘met the criteria to be tested.’ Overindulged fits the criteria then.
  11. Well at least you’re at home eh! Stay safe mate.
  12. Appreciate this has probably been mentioned earlier in the thread but just wanted to ask a question of those who may be in a country in lockdown or know someone who is: What will they do with office spaces if we do go into full lockdown? I work for a bank (low level, please don’t judge me) and we naturally have a high number of callers at the moment worried about mortgages, loans, etc. Do these premises remain open? I imagine they do but if so, what measures are put in place?
  13. Agreed. I just think of my own Nan who lives alone and is having all her clubs and bits she goes to with her church cancelled. I imagine for some of those at the match yesterday, these games are their only outlet and chance to socialise, but if you know the risks then it’s up to the individual I suppose. It is frightening, but unprecedented. There’s no blueprint for this.
  14. I went up to Telford to watch it yesterday, fans there from all the Midlands clubs and it was actually quite nice. Sadly there were some young Villa fans there who didn’t cover themselves in glory and this resulted in a stadium announcement to not use foul and abusive language as there’s lots of children around. Any Telford fan I spoke to yesterday said it was appalling it went ahead. Many elderly there too. Just don’t know what to make of it. I’m pining for the days when we were all arguing over Brexit now!
  15. I can’t comment on the specifics but Wesley is definitely a horrible one, worse than that Gomes injury for Everton
  16. Just seen the stills of the tackle of Wesley. I won’t repost because it’s grim but can’t see him playing again this year. Hopefully Heaton isn’t as serious! Grand win either way and please Smith changes it up. Despite our bed wetting we’re only a few points from mid table. I watched with a type five hangover in my hotel bed in Mexico and feel vindicated for doing so! Happy New Year everyone! Long may this continue!
  17. Has anyone else spotted the Mediterranean looking fellow on the Liverpool bench who looks oddly like the Small Heath manager?
