  1. I always felt with Brexit that the press and other narratives did such a brilliant job of making regular, working class people feel like they had more in common with British elitists like Johnson and Farage than they did with other working class people in France, Germany, etc. Same with Trump. For all his many flaws, he’s a reality TV show host. Literally appealing to a low common denominator in 200 odd characters and look - You seem to forget the bloke is a TV show host and a Billionaire by way of his Father. Worlds gone mad man.
  2. True but I think you’d be one of the strongest mutants who I would definitely vote to elect as petrol sheriff . . .
  3. This really tickled me but come on, nuking jokes are not for another few hours yet!
  4. I mean I’m not reading too much into it - doesn’t having grandchildren mean you call them by their cousins names on the first two attempts anyway?
  5. Agree with @avfcDJ sadly, his ego is so profound I can’t see him taking this lying down
  6. The Stand by Stephen King is my undisputed fictional favourite! Non fiction I’ve read some brilliant stuff and have several I really enjoy but Bobby Sands Writings From Prison was so, so poignant.
  7. I think Trump wins either way sadly. If he wins then obviously he gets his second term, he loses and pushes this narrative of a fraudulent election and I reckon certain red states will reject the democratic authority and proclaim Trump as their leader still.
  8. What a horrible world we live in. Really sorry for your loss @NurembergVillan
  9. That is a shame. Good player who hasn’t maybe hit the heights he could have had he stayed fit
  10. Imagine the debauchery if you hosted people for Come Dine With Me . . . .
  11. I’m playing a drinking game. Taking a swig every time Sky flick to Pickford on the bench looking moody. soft word removed
  12. I get what you’re saying but surely this is studied beforehand? Ward-Prowse is very prolific from set pieces. 5 foot 10 McGinn marking 6 foot 6 Vestergaard for the first. Surely this is basics?
  13. If he gets injured we are shafted. The boy is actually brilliant.
  14. I would honestly drop Barkley and McGinn for Arsenal if we had adequate replacements.
  15. He was saying it a long time before he joined this forum mate
