I’m with you, hence the “ “ .....it’s tiring! From the outside looking in without knowing the clubs philosophy as we do it’s always going to be the comparison cause it’s a lazy one. In the same way any clubs in the championship buying all the best players in the division gambling it on promotion would be tarnished as “doing a villa”.

Given the £30 odd million we have spent so far, the areas we need to strengthen and who we have been linked with (if they can be believed) it looks like we could well spend close to £100m..... I have every confidence it will be more quality over qty I would expect as to not “do a Fulham”.

If true this is a great signing and will get us points next season.... although like most I feel really bad for Steer, I hope he gets a number one spot elsewhere if we do sign Butland. I cant help feel that there was something fishy going with on with the signing of Kalinic, almost as if there was already an agreement they had to honour since when We tried to get him previous... can’t put my finger on it.

Ah man so many....most of which people have mentioned already, in particular Hadgi, Kachloul and Baros different times but I was exited to see them sign. Steve Sidwell, Steve Warnock, Nicky Shorey and I’m gonna throw it out there Stiliyan Petrov, he did a job for us in the end but he didn’t turn out to be the player we were expecting from Celtic let’s be honest. Oh and djemba djemba... although aside from that charity shield game never shown promise at utd, but at the time I thought Alex seen something in him he is gonna be mint for us... how I was wrong.

The scary thing is we probably would have thought they were good signings and what we needed..... it’s like looking back on what could have happened if I stayed with the ex and at the time I thought it would have been ace. **shudders**

I’m finding I hard to get excited cause it’s come out of the blue and I know k’all about him.... but if I knew nothing about him and we were linked and teased with him for a month I’d really want him and think it was the nuts. All reports seem good tho... looking forward to see him action and more importantly who he may be lining up with.

Totally agree.. we will have a bad run this season, possibly a spanking or two. I’m just worried what will happen if we are in and around the bottom few come Christmas, what most supporters would think and whether these owners would pull the lever, I don’t think they would.... I wonder if staying up on the last game of the season was on the table right now how many would take it!? Not sure I would.

I won’t believe he is Brazilian until I see him doing kickups and doing that flick up with his neck. That said... on the video he looks a beast and seems like he has the tools for the prem but 22m seems a lot. I would expect another striker to come in along side....I just really want maupay! Can’t see it now tho.

Hey, everytime I log in whether it be with username or email address the password is incorrect... I then reset password and which lets me in but then when I try to log in using that password in the future it won’t let me. Then the same cycle.... Any ideas?

Agree.... in my opinion some of our best kits have been deviations. This seasons being one and I’m gutted I didnt buy it. As long as it’s claret and blue and looks classy I’m all for it.

It’s worth the money to see Gardner off....with the players we have released this is an instant improvement for not a lot in this market. He has torn us apart on occasions as many have mentioned, and I was jealous when blues singed him. Good start and I love that we doing business early.

Wheelan is worthy of another year for sure. He has proved in the latter stages of this season his value to the squad and seems to get the Smith way of doing things, and he still seems fit. Players like him have a place in the premier league, even if it is for the grinding out of results against teams towards the bottom end of the table. Not a starter, but he stays for me.
