I think there's no debating when Jack plays well, we play well. The turmoil over the summer has wrecked his head from what I can see, maybe there was something in the rumours he wanted out and wasn't happy when the move was poo-pooed but he hasn't been anywhere near his best. We need our other "star" players to pull their fingers out because I'm sick of having to rely on Jack and then read the dross on these forums about him "being shit" when he under performs. Adomah, for all his leg work just offers nothing in the attacking third, thought Bolasie showed enough to start midweek. Fully expecting a defensive "don't lose" line up though so won't hold my breath. Bruce needs to go even if we hammer Rotherham it'll just be another false dawn. Tuanzebe MotM for me, did everything right which is all I want from our centre halves, expect him to get dropped for O'Hare or some kind of nonsense!

When? Has he even been in the squad since his public flogging by Bruce? I only have this opinion because this matter is very close to home for me and when I went through a similar situation, the last thing I needed or wanted was to be ostracized and carted off to the other side of the world. From the outside looking in, it's not football Ross needs it's counseling of some description. At the end of the day our opinions and hearsay count for nothing as we actually know nothing, until Ross leaves we'll only ever have Bruce's gate gate story to go on. Stevo, everything on this board regarding Bruce is opinion, my opinion is Bruce has handled Ross McCormack dreadfully, if it were in the realms of normality occupational health would have been involved if Ross had a drinking issue where it affected his work life and mental health, if your boss aired the washing with regards to you in the same manner he'd be nailed to the suggestion book and/or kicked out the door. Regardless of his indiscretions the whole matter has been a farce from start to finish with Bruce squarely to blame. In my opinion of course.

Is it though? The only difference between last season's (on the whole) solid defence and this season's shambles, is John Terry isn't in it. Proof, if needed, that him coming back (or any solid old school centre half like Collins or Huth) is an absolute no-brainer. Get him (or them) in!

Totally agree and understand that but even the blindest of followers of Bruce have to understand that he is not the answer long term, I won't be overjoyed if we lose the next 3 and he gets sacked, as I (and you have stated also), want to win every game and it is quite possible Bruce will manage that. But! If we somehow get out this league with Bruce and his style of play (whatever the fudge that is) I'll bet my middle knacker we will get mullered every single week up there. Cardiff will experience this under Warnock (spawned from the same batch of dinosaur eggs), because stability and a strong dressing room ethos will only get you so far, teams need an actual game plan and under Bruce we just never seem to have one bar the bigger games which always bring about another false dawn under him (see last season and repeat).
