  1. I'll be absolutely thrilled if we can sign Bolasie. Will be by far the best signing we've made since dropping into the Championship if it happens. My only concern would be how he would function in a team managed by Steve Bruce - he just doesn't seem like a player Bruce would ordinarily go for or be able to get the best out of at all. Still, haven't been this excited by a possible signing in a long time.
  2. My preference list would be: 1. Ranieri 2. Allardyce 3. Sanchez Flores 4. Hiddink 5. Bilic 6. Guidolin

  4. Grealish playing as striker and Kodjia's our number 10 according to Live Score.
  5. He played 39 times for Stoke in 2015/16 when they finished 9th in the Premier League and reached the Semi Final of the League Cup. He's only played a handful games in the last couple of seasons but he also had surgery in that time and was dropped by Wolfsburg for 'criticizing a member of their coaching staff'. He barely played at Metz last season but only spent 6 months there.
  6. Phillipp Wollscheid (ex Stoke player) is another player we could look at. I always thought he had potential but never quite fulfilled it at Stoke. He hasn't played in a while, but has only just turned 29 and if he can get back to his best would be a very good CB at this level.
  7. I saw him play at Leicester. I'm a harsh critic, but he's not a player I would have signed.
  8. Signing the best players available should be the number 1 priority. Ward can play RB, LB and RW. I don't rate Elmo or De Laet and Bree and Tuanzebe are inexperienced. If we don't replace Terry and lost Hutton, our back 4 is potentially a massive problem area.
  9. Joel Ward could be available with West Brom apparently interested in signing him on loan. He's predominately a right back but can also play as a left back and in midfield. An underrated player who would be an excellent buy for any team in the Championship.
  10. Pretty sure that was the main reason he moved though I also got the impression he still had a hunger to prove himself in England and was reluctant to make the move. I think we'll see him back if the right opportunity comes up for him.
  11. I thought he moved in 2017? There were some Premier League clubs interested in him in November last year and from memory he was open to a move back.
  12. With Pellegrini as their manager, you'd think he'll have them better organized and playing with more purpose, spirit and urgency than when he was playing for us. He needs to just sit in front of the back 4 and concetrate on breaking up opposition attacks. I still think he needs to improve his concentration and work rate but he won't have a better opportunity to make it than under Pellegrini.

  15. It was Sherwood who tried to convert him into a CB. Fiorentina loaned him to Espanyol a in January and he was impressive for them from what I've read.
  16. If Sanchez can work on his discipline and is able to cut out the occasional lapses in concentration he had while he was with us (which for a CDM can be a fatal flaw), I think he has most of the tools to be an excellent player in that position. It will be interesting to see how he goes because he has shown he is definitely capable of being a more than decent player at Premier League level on his day. Worth a gamble for West Ham in my opinion.
  17. 80 teams including a number of La Liga B teams (Real Madrid B, Barcelona B, Atletico Madrid B, Villareal B and others).
  18. Langreo are in Segunda B which is the third tier of Spanish football.
