    Not sure what to make of this one. Also loaning from chelsea now means we won't be able to loan giroud from them which is pretty disappointing. Good luck to him though!

    Well obviously but it shows the cup is not as straightforward as it seems. Just because you are in a higher division does not mean you'll go through.

    Villa and Brighton both lost , Watford 3 up to tranmere and drew, Newcastle draw with Rochdale. It's hardly the levels of the 4 - 1 defeat to Luton, don't see why people are even arsed about getting beat by Fulham. Poor performance but will have 0 impact on our season at all, if anything it's shown how much we need to invest in the squad because a lot of those players today proved why they cant play a game in the top flight and need replacing ASAP.

    He has 4 goals in 17 games for league 1 tranmere rovers. 3 of those in one game against mk dons...

    We know batshuayi can cut it in this division and a loan will mean we won't need to pay a hefty fee which is good for ffp or allows us to invest elsewhere. Seems like a really good deal to me if we could get it done.

    Glad he made the formation change but second half showed me why I'm still not convinced with him, dyche made changes and tweaks and we just allowed them to dominate for practically whole half. Very good win though and it is down to his change in formation ultimately so credit where its due!

    Grealish had to work twice as hard once kodjia came on. He's lazy, can't pass and his decision making is baffling at times. Needs to be replaced ASAP especially if wes is out for a while.

    This formation seems to suit us a lot better. A couple of good additions in January and we may have a good end to the season!

    Buzzing for him. Been showing flashes of what he can do past few games and now gets a goal. Hopefully he can kick on from here. Also var is still garbage.

    He was excellent at Leicester can't deny that and then he got his move to Chelsea and played a handful of games in the 17/18 season but since then he has 1 premier league appearance. Last I heard he got filled in after a night out in Manchester. If he can't get Into that Burnley squad where Ashley Westwood plays who is like the bench marker for a terrible midfielder for majority of Facebook villa fan groups then I dont know what he will have to offer here.

    Drinkwater would be an awful signing, likes his beer more than Ross Mcormack. Completely against the direction of signings we were apparently going for, I understand there is a need for experience within the squad but at least sign someone who's played a bit over the past few years.

    I seen them. We played well, I remember it been in the 85th minute and Smith brings on kodjia in a game we are been dominated and desperately hanging on too. Ended up conceding 2 goals in 6 minutes. You've chose 2 examples of when we played well but still didn't win, that's not how you stay up. When did we play well and get 3 points?

    Struggling to get results suggest there is some sort of fight, We've just been turned over by 2 of the worst side in the division, luckily beat Norwich. We are not competing which is the issue. Our manager is costing us points, replacing him could change that.

    Funny cuz targett went down and we gave the ball away after trying go carry on with an attack, We also did the same last year when a sheff u player went down we played on and scored the equaliser. Watford had every right to play on and it's just a really poor excuse from Smith.
