  1. We basically need to win our next three home games v wolves, Bournemouth and brentford and hopefully we get at least one draw v man city and Arsenal away. That will leave us on at least 65 points. That should leave us in a good place to secure 5th and really battle it out for fourth irrespective of what man utd and Spurs do.
  2. What he did was totally unforgivable until he earns forgiveness on the pitch. I thought he played well v Ajax and hopefully he comes back in the league with a very strong desire to make things right because we desperately need him back to lead us over the line.
  3. It’s a fixture we just have to win. If we lose all bets are off.
  4. He needs a loan back to Boro next season in a perfect world
  5. He was the definition of dog shit today. Yes, he may be a great player to come in the coming years but he is no where near Zaniolo or diaby’s level today.
  6. We have to beat wolves at home and I think we will. A task that would be far easier if our captain had not decided to completely **** up our run in.
  7. Total bollocks. Zaniolo showed you the difference between a seasoned international and a kid today.
  8. Complete and utter liability today. Hopefully won’t start again for us this season or we are done for. I see the potential but the kid is too raw. Loan needed next season
  9. I adored how he celebrated that block,. One for the montage!
  10. Rogers was far worse than Duran. Duran was ok. We had to change tactically. That’s it.
  11. McGinn cost us 2 points today. Team showed so much grit to fight back to earn what could be an invaluable point.
  12. Fantastic performance from our amazing captain McGinn today.
  13. My comments were in the context of spurs getting 70 points and those four games against the relegation fodder teams. Which they are still very likely to do based on the games they have left. What yesterday showed was how critical van der ven is to Spurs. If he is out beyond the international break then there is a chance they will fall below 70 points.
  14. My comments are in the context of spurs getting 70 points. They are very likely to achieve that so we have to match their results which we have every chance of doing but it’s going to be incredibly difficult.
  15. That’s part of the game. We got absolutely battered by them in the second half whichever way you look at it.
  16. Just because we bottled those games doesn’t mean spurs will. They have everyone fit again and looked extremely dangerous v us last week as they did when they had everyone fit at the start of the season. Wishful thinking I’m afraid if we are hoping for them to falter. Luton at home might be the only one that causes them issues out of those 4.
  17. Burnley and sheff Utd will be relegated by the point they play them so may as well give them the 6 points now.
  18. 70 will not be enough for fourth. Fifth yes but definitely not fourth. Spurs need 17 points from remaining games to hit 70. They should get 12 from their games v Sheffield Utd, burnley, forest and luton. That means they will only need 5 from all of their other games to hit 70 which is extremely likely with how good they currently look.
  19. We’re shorthanded and going in against one of the most physical teams in the league at their ground. Due to McGinn’s stupidity it’s going to fall on everyone else’s shoulders to step up. Carpe Diem.
  20. The other thing to add is that he couldn’t wish for a better striking mentor than Watkins. Even if he took away only 50% of Ollie’s dedication, work rate and perseverance he could become one of the best in the world.
  21. If we get three/four points over the next two games we’ll be just fine. We need to bunker down for these next three games without McGinn and then reassess after this period. At least with Konsa and Pau fully back we should be more defensively solid.
  22. It’s unfair to say White has no interest in football. He seems interested enough when playing for Arsenal. He has no interest in playing a squad filler role for the PE teacher in a ridiculously defensive set up and to be honest I don’t blame him. You can’t shit house your way to win a tournament 1-0 off a corner or a bit of luck these days anymore. And to try and do that with the amount of attacking talent we have is a sporting crime.
