When you say it like that yea no chance. But his star shone less brightly in the second half of the season, they have a new contract out to Giroud and then signed a new first choice striker. I'm not saying Tammy will come but I would have thought we could tempt Chelsea into doing business with the right offer considering they want rid of another forward and could bring in someone they clearly rate higher than Tammy.

Me too, but he can go back to midfield, play where he has this season or indeed play from the right. it gives us a class player with options

Eze plays all attacking midfield options including out wide. we don’t play a 4-4-2 type winger anyway

Not unless it was stupid money which I simply wouldn’t pay. I can’t see a reason to pay more than 30 when you have Eze and Sarr as cheaper options.

I think someone might pay 30 plus for him personally but I agree with you he isn’t a special defender or at least not so far he’s the sort of player I would have though a 7th to 12th team would have as a starter. i wouldn’t actively sell him but if someone offered 40m I’d definitely do that and replace him as it wouldn’t be difficult with that sum.

20 million would be a good price I think for him, he is probably worth the 30 but when you jump to the 30 bracket you should be looking more seriously at his competition.

I know people find it funny, but it is admirable. Lets face it if a big club did it like they do it they would be hailed as genius' and would fly into the top 6 in our league

We categorically don't need 8 new players all you would do is dilute the amount of cash we have to buy lesser players than we could otherwise get away with.... Much better to spend double on half the amount of players.

Building over the next two years filling out a squad with players you look at and say that is a top 10 finishing side, no doubt about it..... that is the next step and we can reevaluate from there.

He could be a good player but he isn't yet, he should be our third choice centre back and bring in a first choice centre back who is even better than Mings. Effectively this would lock up our central defence positions and we can just concentrate elsewhere.
