  1. Files of the Unexplained on Netflix. The case of the Yuba County Five, very strange indeed.
  2. Quite enjoyed Gunpowder, especially the noble last stand..
  3. Gunpowder. I've always considered Liv Tyler to be a rather underrated actress. I thought her superb in Onegin.
  4. Lineker, Cottee, Smith and Cole, all great forwards whose power in shooting wasn't the greatest, if he scores as many as them, he'll do for me.
  5. Jimmy Cliffs "Many Rivers To Cross." One of the finest vocals ever put to vinyl. The best song of This Town so far.
  6. Steven Knight of all people should know Brummies rarely emphasise the letter "T" in words.
  7. A shame. But it's more about "Egos" than it is about belts. I do admire Haney's self - belief and he has a decent resume. I do think Garcia as, at least, a punchers chance.
  8. The second episode of The Town. Michelle Dockery's Brummie accent is the vocal equivalent of fingernails racking across a blackboard.
  9. So glad to see him where he rightly belongs. It was no coincidence that he was, by far, our best outfield player.
  10. I love Emery, but there are plenty of Villa managers who have brought untold joy to our supporters, let's give them the respect their reputations warrant. That goes for every successful manager from 1874.
  11. It really is strange when two of our most consistent midfielders decide to have, arguably, their worse performance of the season. I didn't realise Luiz was on the pitch in that first - half, that's how anonymous he was. McGinn just couldn't get started. As a result, we got completely outrun in that first - half, and were deservedly made to pay for it. We looked somewhat better after the break, but were still under the cosh at times. It was only after their second that we found some cohesion and started to look a threat, hence, we forced a mistake as so often happens when you force the issue. You're right, Cash showed an indomitable will to get that goal and it had the knock - on effect of galvanizing the troops. You create the luck by being brave, no - one wins anything with a defeatist mentality, and that was fairly evident from last - nights proceedings.
  12. He slipped after the kick, otherwise he would have missed. Credit where it's due.
  13. Watch the ref as Dougie is taking his penalty, Unreal!!
  14. Did you notice how close the ref was to Luiz when he took his? Almost in his line of sight and even had the audacity to almost start walking as Dougie was running up. Crazy, when you reflect on it.
  15. I was ready to make him the first target of my anger had we exited the competition, but, fair is fair, that was some redemption. On another day, he smashes windows, so big - up Matty, cometh the hour.
  16. The penalty he took last night was as good as any penalty you'll see.
  17. Konsa's stats from last night make for impressive reading.
  18. There's nothing complicated about it. Managers are judged by what they achieve, namely trophies. In my lifetime Saunders is our best manager. You can go back as long as you like, but manager's have always been judged by what they have achieved. Busby, Shankly Paisley, Clough and Ferguson are all remembered because they were successful, nothing has changed in regards to manager's. If they're not successful, they get sacked. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we haven't won anything yet. As much as I love Emery, he still as a bit of a way to go before they start carving.
  19. I hope so. But let's have some respect for past manager's and their achievements for this club.
  20. He's not our "Best ever Manager," certainly not until he's won a trophy or two. Saunders built two wonderful Villa sides with a promotion, two league cups and a title, also built the team that won the European Cup.So to say Emery has achieved more, is, ridiculous tbf.
  21. Started Gunpowder on IPlayer, just gutted I already know the result, and not the one I would have preferred.
  22. I thought the ref's performance was slightly schizophrenic in that the first - half he was like a facist dictator and the second - half, the opposite. Went a bit dictatorial for the shoot - out too.
  23. All them requests I was getting on my stream to take my "Wank" to the next level, I might just oblige now.
  24. Let's not forget the accuracy of Dougies pen, an inch less and the keeper probably gets it. Wonderful composure.
