  1. Tbf, I think the clubs you have named would maybe be the only type to turn his head. I would like him to stay as he reaches that peak, at least another big season. I wouldn't begrudge him a move to one of the big two in Spain. I could imagine him scoring plenty for either.
  2. I think the Arsenal fan thing gets exaggerated. That Holte - End can be something special to a goalscorer. Little, Deehan, Gray and Big Peter, they all had that special connection. Can't forget that silky genius, Gary Shaw. I often think of what a player he could have become. Real Madrid type quality.
  3. Just beautiful to watch on Sunday and such a humble lad. Comparisons to a real Villa legend in Gary Shaw and that spin off the defender that led to the third goal was very reminiscent of a prime Gary Shaw. With that amount of goals and assists, without penalties, he must be favourite for player of the year. I really hope he gets that record of premiere League goals, in a season, at Villa Park. I remember how Andy Gray would fully soak in the adulation of a packed Holte - End whenever he scored a vital goal, and he scored many.
  4. Watching the highlights of Coventry v United. I'm quite surprised Coventry got the pen for that handball, especially when you think of the one we was denied with Bailey.
  5. Strange to see Burnley only 3 points off the relegation zone. Obviously the deductions of points for others provides some explanation. Their goal difference in comparison to Everton and Forest is alarming though. I can't see any of the current bottom three surviving.
  6. I think Sunday's performance was ample evidence that he is far more better for us in the centre of that defence. Anticipation, you can't teach that quality, it's pure instinct. I think Paul McGrath smiles watching Ezri play.
  7. Just the rumours regarding retirement and things like that. He may well fully recover, but I feel like it was worse than expected. He would still be a fine back - up to Torres.
  8. If we were forced to sell a couple of players, I honestly think Cash would be at the front of my mind, along with Digne (wages), Tim and maybe Duran, although, I'm very impressed with his enthusiasm and commitment when on the pitch. He has that precious habit of making something happen from seemingly nothing, The Cash goal against Lille was caused by his threatening presence and that's a quality we're not exactly spoiled with.
  9. I think he may well stay as long as Klopp has for Liiverpool. He's not going to get the same autonomy at many other clubs. That's the big factor, imo, which will keep him here.
  10. Surely if we manage to win the ECL and get CL then this manager has to be a shoe - in for Moty. Whatever our outcome, he has been phenomenal!
  11. Like i said, "not entirely." He only played half a season. Let's get it right. The reason the mistake stands out is because it was a costly one, which was my point in the first place.
  12. I think the young Eastern European right - back who we have signed might just be our regular full - back next season. This coaching team seem to have the right judgement when it comes to new signings.
  13. I can always rely on Larry David to send me to bed smiling. To Cheryl's Jesus loving father, "I could understand if Jesus had a daughter, Jane, I could worship a Jane, but worship a guy, it's a bit of a little gay thing." Only Larry.
  14. Great fight, crazy fight and controversial from the moment it was announced. I heard Haney say, "Surely he has to give me a shot." I would have thought there was a rematch cause, unless Daddy Bill thought, "We don't need One." Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
  15. People having a go at the judge who scored the fight even. I have to be honest, without the knockdowns, Haney wins that fight. Garcia was quite passive for the first 5 rounds, aside from the left - hook in the first.
  16. I really can't see Mings being the same player after that injury. I get the feeling it was worse than we're being told.
  17. I think Konsa would have been at home in that great Italian league of the 80s and 90s.
  18. No! He's limited in that position, offensively mainly.
  19. On defending, I thought Konsa was superb today. I'm obviously bias, but, for me, there's no better English centre - half playing has consistently good as him.
  20. All players have flaws or most do. Cash just has that unfortunate habit of making costly mistakes. Mings was no different, his mistakes often proved costly. That impulsivness in someone's game can be difficult to eradicate.
  21. Just reading the social media posts from other boxers regarding the Haney/Garcia fight. And who had the funniest post, Yep! Good old Gervonta. Clarissa Shields posted, "I feel sorry for Dev." To which GD replied, "Forget Devin, where Bill at where dirt at"!!!!!! I don't blame Gervonta, Bill Haney portraying Devin as the second coming, I don't think so, Bill.
  22. Even the Bournemouth manager was effusive in his praise for Ollie.
