    I think we should give him one more chance to prove his worth (when back from injury, if that is the case). Then if he's mind/ability still isn't up to scratch, ship him out in the summer. We have plenty of holding midfielders so he 'could' be our AMC if allowed to roam a bit more.

    They all clapped the Holte & everywhere. Players looked ecstatic after the final whistle. Bent, Collins & Young made a special effort for the Holte after the game. Crowd went mad at final whistle, you would have thought we'd won the cup! SWEET

    Goes to show going out on loan a few times helps loads!! Like said above... if he bulks up a bit (not saying like the Hulk or anything) he can be a awesome player IMO.

    I agree with this... hopfully more game time will calm him down but it's a matter of needing goals ASAP and I think that is playing on his mind a bit.

    It's funny how Young has come out and said he love playing in the centre... and now he plays there even though we all know he is better on the wing... do you think GH is bending over backwards (playing him there) so he will be more willing to sign a new contract? Saying to him "naa your better out wide so deal with it" aint playing happy families... IMO. He deffo should be put out wide and if he has a crap game take him off for the good of the team!

    Would have gone to this tonight but i'm currently in Newquay! Would like to see the above team given a go, looks solid and attack minded. If SI is out then Petrov come in and Bannan being the more attacking CM.

    General, I would like to say I am a very proud Villa fan, the way the board has gone about appointing a manager is brilliant. Although I must admit that I was not totally please when I first heard GH would be our new leader, I have since had time to think and bielive that this is the best appointment possible at the time. Let's hope he does a brilliant job and can push us on to the next level, he has my full support. UTV!
