  1. 2-1 to Stoke. We'll put in a hard fought performance and they will inevitably score from a set piece very late on.
  2. Annoying, obviously, but there were a lot of positives tonight. The team gave the crowd something to shout about, the atmosphere sounded great and it felt a bit like some of the years gone by. Far more positive all round. However, it was almost inevitable, instead of waiting for our winning goal, I knew we wouldn't hold on and I fear that this is the general mind set of the squad. A rot is there. Arsenal were nothing great tonight and our lack of quality at times really worries me. We need to keep up that sort of work rate and attitude every single game to beat anyone in this league. I just don't see these players able to do it week in week out and put some form of run together. MoM - N'Zogbia
  3. Feeling festive and positive today so I'm gonna go for a 1-1 and a good, positive performance from us.
  4. This isn't the best goal but technique wise, I don't get it. There's pace on the corner but if you look on the replay, it's not absolutely drilled in. I don't know how he gets so much pace and lift on it. I really think its skill rather than luck.
  5. In an odd way though it's almost become a loveable trait for Bethesda games. They create such open, free worlds that any developer would have problems controlling potential glitches. I know it sounds like a bit of a cop out to just say "Yeah, Bethesda's games have glitches, it's fine" but it's sort of true, they are mainly harmless and add to the character. Obviously the Ps3 issue is shocking but from a pc perspective, the completely random glitches I've encountered haven't remotely put me off or annoyed me, just made me laugh.
  6. Managed to capture quite a cool pic of a sneak attack. Just finished the main quest at level 51. It's just crazy to think that i've still probably only uncovered half of the map. I'm on 70% achievements on Steam now, usually getting 100% is a massive chore but they are really reasonable for Skyrim and can be achieved without having to play through a load of times, should be able to get them all fairly soon, think that's my main goal now.
  7. This has surprised me a little too. After the initial shock of his appointment I actually thought he might do a decent job here (by decent, I meant just stabilizing the squad a little after a fairly turbulent year before) It is of course still early days, but I thought we'd at least start to see some of his so called strong characteristics coming through- a tight, organised defence (or at minimum a defence that knows how to deal with set pieces), I thought we'd close down teams more, pester them, show a bit more hunger and desire, that sort of small squad unity..... but nothing, nothing so far has improved on last season, only got worse. I knew the football wouldn't be pretty, obviously, but I sort of didn't mind for the time being, I just wanted to become harder to beat and more competitive. I'm not really of the opinion that because he had a certain style and plan at sha with the resources that he had there, that we would see identical tactics and style here. I presumed that working with Sid and KMac and generally working at a club with larger ambition and resources, that he would adapt his tactics and be really up for this challenge. I'm not seeing any signs of this. No one really looks that bothered and it's all so flat. The last three games have been such a horrible mess, I'm really starting to doubt that the guy has any sort of plan at all, it seems to be eleven confused players, running around, not really understanding what they're meant to be doing. Very worrying.
  8. Roma down to eight men against Fiorentina and losing 3-0. Very odd game.
  9. I'm very concerned for the future of our club.
  10. Similar to Designer1 Dark Souls Skyrim The Witcher 2 Orcs Must Die! Rift was probably my favourite MMO, but had problems convincing old friends to join up, so didn't stick around too long. Excellent game though.
  11. Horrible, horrible news. Such a tragedy. RIP Gary
  12. Go to Windhelm and you'll hear some people talking about a kid Aventus Aretino, ask any of the locals about him and you'll get a quest to visit him. The quest line starts here but when you've finished with his quest, like previous elder scrolls games, after murdering someone you'll have to go to sleep and randomly get awoken in the night. This is Ichi, a scimitar wielding, illusion master - mad alchemist, Nightingale. Or 'Mr Sneaky' as called by one of the Riften Guards
  13. I thought Nazir from the Dark Brotherhood had a familiar voice... It's Three-Dog from Fallout 3 Brilliant!!
  14. I think that Kevin Prince-Boateng goal was the best goal I've seen for years.

  16. Illusion is an incredibly powerful and underrated magic school in this game and a massive amount of fun. I've found it to be absolutely ideal for my assassin type character so far, in situations when detected by multiple mobs, you can crowd control unlimited amount of enemies to help you, fight against each other and basically just massacre an entire room in seconds. It's particularly satisfying to calm an enemy that has detected you, which then gives you the time you need to sneak/dance behind him and get that one hit kill -throat slit and the awesome animation. Definitely recommend trying out this route
  17. Ha! yes. Very surreal moment in there.
  18. A few screenshots, there's so many moments of beauty in this game, you really just have to admire the work and effort put into it. I think Markarth is my favourite town in the game, love the Dwarven architecture.
  19. Anyone done the 'Night to Remember' quest yet? Very funny
  20. I've only just picked my jaw off the floor.
  21. Love this finishing quote from the PC Gamer review
  22. I'm more or less done with my first playthrough now. I've still got the last boss to kill but i'm leaving him for the moment, rounding up a few more stats, upgrading a few more weapons, co-oping/upgrading covenant rank and pvping in the final zone. Quite an adventure, Lost Izalith is a pretty incredible design triumph and tomb of giants is just an absolute nightmare/terrifying but designed incredibly well. Made many mistakes this time round, particularly with story and the death of certain characters but already dying to get on with my new character, going to co-op a lot more and get more out of the online experience. It's gonna take a back seat for a short time because of Skyrim, which will undoubtedly be incredible too, but it's gonna take a hell of a lot to top this for GOTY.
