  1. Weekend ruined, embarrassed. Incredibly poor substitutions that any remotely normal person who understands even a bit of the game wouldn't have made. Our proud record against wolves and baggies completely out of the window and I doubt any of the playing or coaching staff are particularly bothered. Scared that this managerial regime will still be here next season. Yeah, we played well at times but as long as we persist with defending as bad as this, everything else is basically pointless. Obviously, i'm over-reacting a bit but this season is driving me nuts. Please end.
  2. Pathetic, embarrassing... haven't felt this angry in a while.
  3. Corners are the new penalties, don't ya know! Completely unacceptable, fed up. Just want this nightmare to end.
  4. Dunne and Bannan did well. Everything else was just a complete and utter disaster. I don't mind the changes as long as the players are played in the right positions and a workable formation. Delph and Delfouneso have absolutely no idea what they are meant to do, Bradleys performance was one of the worst i've ever seen, just horrible. Really embarrassed at the moment, I just don't understand, why needlessly destroy the confidence of a team in decent form? The squad is recently back from a two week break we shouldn't be resting people, tonight was just a massive example of the total calamitous side of Houllier. Feel sorry for the travelling fans.
  5. Incredibly frustrated. It's funny, a win and we would have shot up the league and I would have been confident going in to the Blackpool game but a draw just makes the league table look glum again and suddenly I don't feel confident any more. We still have so many problems, always thought we would concede every time Fulham counter-attacked.
  6. 2-2 with someone terrible like Obertan or Gibson scoring in the 94th minute
  7. Nail. On. Head. Indeed, sums up all the foolish and catastrophic errors Houllier has made in his short time here. Its just remarkable how one man can get so much, so wrong.
  8. A nightmare. We're really, really, really in the shit aren't we?
  9. Biggest win for a very long time. Chuffed to bits.
  10. I think for the first time this season the realism of relegation has hit home for me. The team put out tonight was pretty decent on paper and even though I never expected a win, i'm astonished at how in six months we've gone from a team that can pretty much compete well away from home to this absolute shambles. Houllier really does need to start answering a few questions. What exactly is going on in training? Why is there is no urgency or signs of unity between the players? I'm genuinely worried, of course the right signings in Jan could make a huge difference but as it stands, the inexperienced kids and the likes of Pires, Carew and Ireland don't have what it takes to get us out of this relegation hole we'll be facing come the end of Jan. I really don't know where are next points will come from. Bad day for most tonight. Hogg, Downing and Fonz did ok.
  11. Freidel MoTM again for the umpteenth time this season. Very painful to listen to, very worried by the fact we just don't have the players at all to control a game and control the pace, we more or less have to play out of our skin to beat anybody. However, there was a spirited performance in there and it's a good base for GH to build on.
  12. The only thing to do is laugh at how crap we currently are.
  13. Depressing listening. Surely Burnley will score any minute now.
  14. Would have liked Ireland to start. Decent side though, if slightly worried about the defence (I usually am though.)
  15. Even though Sunderland are a transformed team at home, I think that i'll feel disappointed if we don't win today considering how terrible they looked on Monday night. Bent will almost definitely score though. I'm going for 1-2.
  16. I think it's perfectly feasible that Spurs and City could finish in the top 4 this year. So yep, I believe with all the financial problems starting to arise, the various changes in UEFA financial regulations we may well see a more open, competetive league in the years to come. Who knows, if we conduct ourselves properly financially, build on the squad well, we could very much take advantage.
  17. Wasn't Drogba out when they beat us 7-1? Although the absentees are a slight bonus it doesn't really seem to affect the rhythm of how Chelsea play, with the players they still have available and the ones that step in, they can comfortably adjust system to cover for any losses. Wouldn't get too carried away.
