    Physically out team is piss poor. Any team with any sort of height and strength always seem to beat us comfortably. Bournemouth of course don’t have better players but what they do have is players with a much better attitude and belief

    I’m so disappointed after that. The thing for me is I can’t imagine any defence in the league being worried about facing our attack. We just sit in front of their defence with 0 runs behind. It is going to take a bit of magic from someone for us to win any game this season. We are desperate for some strength and physicality in the team.

    If we do sign another player I just want it to be of the calibre of Carlos and Kamara. In terms of squad players we have plenty and just need to up the quality. Assuming we might sign 1 more player I’d be hoping for a centre midfielder. However not a clue who would be a good person to go for. I still like the idea of Gallagher as a mcginn / Ramsey replacement

    I don’t think JJ or mcginn should start to be honest. As good as I think JJ is I don’t think he’s ready to start every game. For me Luiz and a new 8 need to start

    We hear in every interview that we have really ambitious owners. Would love to know what they are saying to the players. Whilst I agree they have done wonders for us. I would argue that we need to spend more to have any chance of getting top 8

    I think the reason people are appearing unhappy despite us making good signings is the fact this season teams are going to have 5 subs. I think our starting 11 is strong and striking options are good but outside of that the quality from our starting 11 massively drops off.

    I saw a link on Twitter to soucek, he might be a good signing. Add a bit of strength to the midfield and he always scores against us

    Seems like transfer window is really ramping up for most clubs now! Really hope we have more left in the wallet for a centre mid

    Think it’s going to be super hard to break into the top 8 this season. Seems like there are lots of clubs really improving this transfer window. Us, Leeds, West Ham, wolves, Newcastle. That’s without considering the top 6 spending tonnes again. I think there will be an even bigger divide between top 6 and the rest of the league this season. Can see about 8 clubs fighting for the 7/8th position

    Gallagher would be the signing I would be most excited about if we could get him. However I think Chelsea will look to keep him around

    I’d kind of like richarlison because he’s irritating. I guess he is kind of in the Suarez mold but somehow I can’t imagine Gerrard liking him to much after recent coach related banter

    I reckon we’re going to see some significant outgoings until we have any more come in. Problem is the players soaking up the wage bill are all pony and nobody will want them
