RHM won't be leaving on loan.

I don't want yet another manager to get sacked, I want to see us build something for the long term. Yet we are edging closer and closer to the wrong end of the table. Bruce won't see out the season if we don't pick up some points soon and as stories go, the ex Lulu manager gets replaced with the ex-Lulu manager & Villan.....Gary Rowett.

I think he has always been good enough but with the injuries that he has suffered that must be at the back of his mind. This season, he knew it was going to be a big year at Villa for him. Playing for the team you support, knowing that injuries have prevented him playing for several season & then throw in the mix playing in a poor team... Bruce coming in, he knows what he has in Gardner and he will only get better in the weeks and months ahead.....so long as he doesn't get injured.

I've not seen or heard any report that Clarke has impressed.

I'd take Gary Rowett.

I would normally be on the "Not Bruce" bench but the club is crying out for someone that can take it by the scruff of the neck and his that man. He speaks his mind, he takes blame when its his to take and he isn't afraid to slam the players. Someone said he isn't strong enough, he is more than strong enough. If we appoint Bruce, he has my support...100%.

1 thing that stuck out for me about RDM, where were his connections in the game with regards to transfers? Rumour after rumour about Chelsea players coming in on loan but not a single 1. Now I know people will dismiss that but just think about it.....not a single player in on loan from any prem league club. A New owner, with money to burn and RDM couldn't attract a single up and coming player form Chelsea or any club? Why wouldn't they want to play with the great RDM in a team look Villa side with a reported chance to go up and really make a name for themselves? Problem we have if he does get sacked, who will want the job yet again?

For me, he has until mid Oct. That's plenty of time to gel the team together and learn how they can trust 1 another.

Wilson was injured for most of last season and Bournemouth have just signed a striker for close to 6 million. They have too many players in that pos, could be a loan...

We're in talks with another Bournemouth player, I believe it to be King or Wilson. As much info as I have at present.

I'm looking forward to getting the new top for my son & I. I'm taking him to his 1st ever match, our 1st home game of the new season and want us to look the part! As Villa have been in decline over the years, my desire to take him wained and now we have something to look forward to.

There is nothing that we can do other than support the team. He wants to sell but no-one wants to buy. Protesting that no-one wants to buy the club? Or are we protesting that he doesn't want to spend money on players when he doesn't want to own the club? Protesting at his mis-managing of the club? He wants out anyway. There is no point in cutting our noses off to spite our faces. Its our club at the end of the day.

Big changes? What planet are you on? The only possible change might be with Garde resigning! Lerner will only spend money on players via player sales, like he has done for the last 2 years.

Garde could of been really good for Aston Villa if he had of been given some type of chance. He came in to a struggling team, playing headless chicken tactics under TS and a squad of players that couldn't be bothered. We are here on deadline day, with no players that he has picked to shape our team around and the lack of backing from Lerner is disgusting. We are going down, we won't get straight back up and we will be bloody lucky if we don't go down again next season.

Boro didn't pull the plug on the Rhodes deal due to his wage demands what so ever. As far as the player himself was concerned he was on his way to Boro but Boro are in advanced talks to sign another striker that was dilly dallying and thought he was messing them around so they went for Rhodes. Now the other striker has decided "Hey wait a minute, I do want to play for Boro"....
