I wouldn't be surprised to see a signing before the WBA game, before the game they could show him off and get the crowd going...

Anyone who even thinks that Hutton is a decent player and could do a job for Villa clearly has never been to a match in their life. Away to Wigan, under Eck we drew 0-0. During the entire game, Hutton was caught out of pos and Albrighton was more or less playing as a RB. I picked that game as it sticks out in my memory like a sore thumb. Terrible game. Hutton is a useless player.

What you need to look at also, yeah what if he had the cash, would players want to sign for us? We aren't in Europe or even up there to challenge for a space. Aston Villa FC, to use means everything but to players, its nothing. They want to play on the best stage, earn the most money and win things. They aren't going to get that at Villa, so we have no option anymore but to risk buy players - maybe players, young players, unheard of players. I'm not a fan of the brand of football we're playing but I do honestly believe that's the players fault not PL. I post something alike on facebook. Its not just Benteke that players well with confidence. If he is scoring, the mids get forward more to feed him - if he isn't scoring our mids don't seem to know what to do. When the mids have the confidence to push forward, its takes pressure off our back line. they can see they can play a higher line and not sit as deep. Ofc its not all about Benkete but if we had forwards who were scoring, I firmly believe we'd be playing better football and that was proven on Monday night.

Just trying to get abit of good old 1+1 = 5 going! Heard Graham is joining until the end of the season as Wells is leaving. Might of heard that Huddersfield had their bid accepted & Villa were waiting to see what it was before we firmed up our offer. As if you are a L1 side, your going to hold out for the most money, if a PL side is bidding 1st, then u are going to want more from them than a Champ side. Wells has asked to leave also, not requested to leave but asked - which is why Huddersfields offer has been accepted & Graham is on the move to them.....

Wells is looking likely to sign today.

I liked Wells when he played V us last season, looked bigger than Bradford at the time. He looked bigger than them again this season and he could be an option. Good 1st touch, good finisher, can run at players and has bags of confidence....yeah why would he be willing to sign for Villa.....lol

Benteke just reminds me of Yorke, away to Everton. He didn't want to play for us anymore and it couldn't of shown more at that game.

Hi, So a little about myself... I'm 33, married with 2 kids. My boy's middle name is Aston, he had to have a link to Villa.... I'm inked up, got the old crest (1 before our current 1) on my chest over my heart.... 1st Villa game I went to was a 0-1 away win at Everton. 1st Villa home game was a 1-1 draw in the old Uefa Cup which we ended up going out on away goals, sat in row G lower Holt. Only got to see 20 mins of the game, as I live in Liverpool and the stupid numpty at Lime St gave us the wrong train times. So it was either travel straight back from New St or go to Villa and see 20 mins of the game.... I refuse to go to Anfield anymore as I paid £45 my ticket and you couldn't see above the 18 yard box or below the 6, robbing.... Travel down to Villa when I can, done the drive from Liverpool for the home leg v Bradford last season after 8 hrs in work and ill..... I want Paul Lamber sacked, not just for the way we haven't progressed under him but for the brand of football he is subjecting us to week in week out. Randy Lerner needs to sell up or invest - over a year without attending a home game is a complete disgrace.... UTV!
