    Weimann played at the top of the diamond against Pool. Behind Gabby and Benteke. And in fairness to Andy, he was good in the role and worked his socks off .. But now it must be Bacuna at the diamond top, behind Benteke and Weimann, presumably. Hopefully Bacuna can fill the role equally well. *fingers crossed* Or .. we'll play a 4-5-1 with Bacuna on the right and Andy in the middle, sorta 4-4-1-1 ..?

    Most of us would have sold that game for a point, so ... we got a point. It's just so annoying, being up 2 goals to then concede just before half time and then from that chating word removed Suarez diving ... I thought we'd fall apart after they came back to 2-2, so am personally very happy with the one point (in the end). MOTM ... I saw SKY gave it to Vlaar .. he is outstanding. Gabby was great too.

    Bertrand ... good loan signing. I don't think it means, Lambert has given up on Bennett, as Bennett is just back from long term injury and haven't training for ... month. Luna on other hand ... a bit of a slap in the face, but unfortunately justified. Luna has been a disappointment, imho.

    I must admit, I was hoping Baker would be ready, so we could play 5-3-2, but with both him and Herd out, it'll be 4-4-2, probably, I guess. Come May, goal difference can be the extra point keeping us up, so I'm hoping for a one or two goals defeat. 14-1 isn't long enough for me to stick money on us. 50-1, I'd consider it. Only positive I can think of is, they might keep a rather high back four line (ala S'ton) and if Gabby hasn't been forced to drop too deep defending, maybe he'll get a chance or two at a run. I think we'll lose 4-1.

    From comments on VT, I had the impression Holt had balloned out to the size of two Michelin men. But then I saw the photos on AVFC .. He looks pretty normal. 6 month loan cover. It won't have been expensive, so I cannot see it as anything but a win/win.

    I'm voting for Klose ahead of Grant ... what a signing Klose would be, but I refuse to get my hopes up.
