Good to see a much better 2nd half ... Bacuna MOTM. I like Lowton on RB, so Bacuna can play higher up the pitch. Apart from first 15 min, I thought our defence look ok solid 'ish and we kept a clean sheet and scored for the first time in ... about 450 minutes or so. Better mood now than after that %¤#!"&/%¤%#!"&%&/%¤ 1st half.

Brilliant Tonev .. just brilliant ... Benteke to his left ... Kozak to his right ... but he SHOOOTS ... and its about 50 yards above goal.

35 min in. AV 42% CAR 58% .. at home .. to Cardiff *sighs* but at least Kozak didn't score on his best chance.

We still can't keep the ball ... and we're play fokking Cardiff ... at home. Oh .. and defence looks shaky ... Sitting with my heart up in my throat and we're only 15 min in ...

Must win, must win, must score and win. 4-4-2 with Kozak and Benteke up top. Maybe 3-2-4-1 with 3 CBs, Bacuna LB, Gabby MF (if Gabby is ok to play).

I thought both Vlaar and Clark had a reasonable game and voted for Clark as MOTM because the rest of you voted for Vlaar .. In other news : 4 games or 360 minutes of football without scoring a goal. We are old Stoke with McLeish as manager.

Shame we couldnt replace Weimann with another defensive player. Despite being 5 in the back, we look very shaky against their phantom striker.

If now Weimann has just stayed on his feet and tried to go for goal, it might have worked. Playing for a sending off is just plain pathetic.

wtf ... now Delph is injured too ... so help us God. Completely out of form Weimann and half strength Benteke up front. We better keep a clean sheet, coz we ain't gonna score. PS I cannot believe Lambert keeps Weimann in the starting 11.

Delph MOTM for Villa ... again ... he has really become a great player. The only positive really (with Guzan maybe) for this season. God, it's depressing. If it hadn't been for the most flukish of flukes against City, we would be 5 loses for 5 at home. As much as I like Lambert, I am beginning to feel, he doesn't get the best out of the players, we have. And playing Benteke injured is just dumb. Keeping Weimann in the starting 11, is just dumb. I thought we could maybe finish 10 or so. But it's *fingers crossed*, we aren't relegated. Hopefully CP and Sunderland will continue to struggle, so there's only one more team to go down. *sighs* *depressed* *tiredofexcuses*

Oh jolly, there's No. 2 for Everton ... We are so poor, it's depressing. Can't score, can't depend. Can only talk about how well we play, every time we lose. A few more rounds like this and we're down there with CP and Sunderland ..

Some might see it as defensive, but I too would like us to play 3 central defenders. Andi and West need to be benched, imho and play CB and Gabby on top. Kea, Delph and Sylla in the middle. I am hoping for a draw. I just cannot see a win and I'd be happy with 0-0

Depressing .. and Benteke looked far from fit .. I am worried he's been forced back much to early.

Few minutes before the end, Tonev drilled the ball into the penalty area. 3 Villa player were standing around half a yard from each looking at the ball ... not moving. That summed up our attack today Delph MOM. I thought Clark was really good too. Weimann shouldn't start atm.
