I feel a little sad for DB, he didn't get the No. 9 shirt. DB9 sounds better than DB19 Good effort though.

Pretty much my opinion last night , got beaten a couple of times and had to be saved by Hutton I cosign that opinion too. Looked like he was asleep at Gronningens 4th goal. But yes whatever, pre season, but I too am not seeing Okore as our defensive saviour. Would like to be proven wrong though, but the hype here is a bit insane, imho.

Wonder if he'll get the #9 shirt again... DB9 ... Either way, I hope DB can make an impact. He's on the books and if no other club is coming in for him, we may as well utilize him now CB20 and Kozak is out injured. I will likely regret, many times during the 2014/15 season, having said this, but I think our side look somewhat better and stronger with the new additions, bomb squad back, injured back... UNJINX

I am seeing 'ClubCall' recon Ki could be available for £1.5m ... that sounds like a bargain, if Ki doesn't have outrageous personal demands.

Someone on Twitter wrote that Chelsea wanted £8m for Bertrand. While a cracking player and better than Richardson, we don't really have that option, do we. *sighs* ... Who knows, maybe our 'some new, some old, some borrowed, some blue'... strategy will work.

With his age and 12 months left I can't see us getting more than 6 or 7 million for him. Sounds about right, imho. Some Villa fans on Twitter talk about £20 mill ... I think they must be from Colorado or they could of course be from Amsterdam

It's only a few month ago, he was in Copenhagen partying with his enabeling drinking buddies, where he drunk out of his skull was yelling and screaming at a taxi driver, making 'adult' movements towards the car and ended up running after the taxi flogging it with his belt ... That is just the latest out of ... I lost count ... of 'Bendtner' stories. There are many more. I cannot get into my head why on earth we would even be talking to this person.

Initially Bendtner was said to want a 40 million kroner first year package (wage + sign-on). 40 mill kroner is about £4.5 mill. Frankfurt didn't go for that, but has apparently offered Bendtner 15 mill kroner a year on a 3 year deal. (about £35k pw). If he is being priced out of that deal by us, I am .... well, very surprised. Then again, we are talking about THE Lord Bendtner, so obviously we'll have to break the bank to sign such a class player.

He has been available since the end of the season and we were apparently in for him last month, we signed Senderos instead as the word was that Lescott wanted to hold out for better offers. He has had his medical at the Baggies now. So basically West Brom can offer Lescott good enough terms, and we can't ...

Villa could also buy a lot of lottery tickets and hope winning the Euro Jackpot! That's well over £5m!! According to Danish papers, Bendtner is looking for a first year package of 40 million kroner (about £4.5m). That'd be a £2m sign-on + £50k pw .... Hopefully (imho) Bendtner will think of Villa as too small a club for a man with his abilities. *fingers crossed*
