The only PS4 game I've persuaded my wife to play that she's actually enjoyed is Guitar Hero. Apart from that, not interested. I tried her with LA Noire when we first started going out and that was disastrous.

I enjoyed what I saw. We were comfortably better than the team that finished 2nd, whose players this game obviously meant a lot to the way the collapsed after we scored. If it had stayed 11 v 11 as it should, I'm sure we'd have won. I can understand dissatisfaction, but not with today's performance.

Why are you trying to make it "Bruce lovers" vs "Bruce haters"? The discussion is far more nuanced than that. The guy you quoted has said on multiple occasions that Bruce has until the end of the season to prove he is up to the job. Hardly "constant support".

But we had enough chances to win the game in the first half which fits the "we are a team of good players unfamiliar with one another, who if given time could become a decent team" narrative. This reactionary microanalysis game by game is crazy to me. Anything in life takes time to achieve. The team we just lost to, with their fashionable manager and a great chance of being promoted, were crap last season. We may not have been brilliant tonight, but for a matter of inches we were in with a shout of winning. We weren't outplayed by one of the better teams in the league. Let's give it a chance to work out.

I still login to get the daily rewards, but you're right. It's barely even a game. Just grind. And they've layered on more grind with some evolutions needing more than the stingily doled out candy.

Hope it's not a bad one. I'm clinging to the hope that it's not. I went over on my ankle like that once and it immediately swelled to 2 or 3 times the size and I feared the worst. Had no lasting damage. Then there was that other time where I did the same thing and was in plaster for 8 weeks. Please be the former.

Bruce, please realise you have one of the best teams in the league. Stop paying so much respect to inferior opposition and go at teams. When we did go forward we looked decent. Bunn has to have the shirt for the rest of the season, as much as I don't rate him.

God this is grim. If we accept this season as a write-off why don't we attempt to play the way we're going to need to next season to get promotion? This retrograde, timid surrender of the initiative to the lowliest opposition is infuriating.
