Lads do you think the actual design of the new iphone, the glassy edge etc, is an improvement? I picked one up the other day and was astonished by the rigidness of it. Apple pride themselves on super design, sleekness and feel etc but I found the look and feel of it a tad boring. Great to use though I must say. (even though I'm an Android user).

Swype looks VERY good I must say.

I noticed on my first 2 days of use the battery was draining very fast, annoyingly fast. I was however just getting used to it and was surfing the internet via wi-fi for most of the day. I've calmed down a bit now with it. I'm using Advanced Task Killer so everytime I go to put the phone away I just hit it on the home screen and it normally comes up with 2 to 4 apps running, this would have eaten away at my battery life had I not killed them so that helps a lot. I still have my screen brightness on Auto although I should change it. My background image is a jpeg in black and a little white. Again this helps with battery performance. I'm starting to get nearly 3 days out of my phone now which is fantastic I think for a (very) smartphone! I never even thought about an anti virus for my phone, do we need to worry about virus's on these?

I'm man enough to admit that the iPhone is a cracking phone. I choose to use the Desire because, in my humble opinion, it's better as it's more suited to my needs. All I want to know is, why can't apple users simply admit that they've got serious competition? It does my head in.

2.1 is on my Desire - it's brilliant. I hear though that a 2.2 Froyo update is imminent and its meant to be whack

I respect your opinion mate because you've got experience of the two phones. Most fanboys I speak to have never even used the HTC but dismiss it off hand straightaway. What is the main difference between the two for you and why would you choose the iPhone over the HTC? I just want to know from someone who's actually used both phones. Cheers

How come HTC gets all the stick from Apple Fanboys when the new iPhone has only just added new features, features that the Desire already had?

I got the Desire on contract last week - It is the sh*t! I can't put it down, it is simply brilliant. The apps are cool, the screen is awesome, it feels beautiful and looks sharp. All the apple fanboys hate them though. Very hard to convince an iphone user that something similar (some may say even better) phone exists. Idiots.

All of them were brilliant but I thought the return of Stringer Bell and Barksdale in Season 3 was sublime. The tension was great. Season 5 was a great curtain call too.
