Yeah I read that and I hope it's true but as you say they are rumours.

Let's just hope they don' think they can buy MON. Even if nothing happens; we don't need the distraction right now. When the rumors start I hope he hits them on the head ASAP.

The reason I wish for Spurs do melt away like Harry's face is the 1981 Charity Shield. 28 years on and that 11 year old boy still holds a grudge. I hope that get their new stadium and disappear into the Championship.

Except it didn't strike his arm, as the replays show clearly. The one from beind the goal towards the corner flag showed otherwise. Was very high on the chest with combination with arm. He got the benefit of the doubt and hit a sweet shot. If he had not of needed his arm to control it his right arm would have been out to his side like his left. That is the natural position when controlling a ball on the chest. His arm was locked by his side to give his chest extra width.

Just finished watching the game and for the life of me can't see what game plan we had in the second half. If it was to switch to a 451 and pull Carew into midfield then maybe I have it. It was like MON's team talk was "sit back and absorb all the pressure and leave Gabby isolated up top." We had no conviction going forward in the second half; it was like we were scared to pass the halfway line. The defense was suberb and from one angle it did look like handball but I believe Spurs (even though this hurts) deserved at point at least. They used their strengthens as we sat back and used Young and Milner as defenders. I thought MON said he was going to give everything for 4th place? Well what about giving an attacking display we can be proud of and not just a defensive one! On a positive note, Petrov had one his better games in a while until NRC went off injuried.

I don't think MON knows but you know we all know better.

Just looked at their goal and it seemed to me that the number 5 who jumped with Cadwell for the goal was offside when freekick was taken. Just wondering if anyone else noticed it as he was interfering with play. Very poor 1st half; improved in the 2nd half and probably deserved a point. Never been much of a fam of Petrov and again it showed why. Not blaming him for overall poor performance but he doesn't give us the drive we need from center midfield. Happy for Heskey and we are sitting 4th. Somehow.

Didnt see the game but from the reactions it wasn't pretty. We all are disappointed when Villa don't win but look at the positives:- Spurs lost.

Agree with everything said before hand. Petrov's best game in a while but still his lack of fitness started to show in last 25 minutes. He ran his heart out but struggled to keep up. Good point against a good team. We will play worse and win and better and lose so happy with result overall.

I think Delph will play out left for Young. Hope to see NRC back in the side and maybe even play as captain so we can rest Petrov. Put Cueller on the bench and Beye starting along with Shorey.

He is even more loyal to players who he spends alot of money on. I.E. Davies over Knight when Knight was playing better. Petrov over any other mid two years ago when Petrov was playing real bad. I also believe this is another case of don't upset the costly star even if he not playing well. Beye should be playing for me.

What was good to see today was that our bench looked liked it could change a game if needed. We had two internaional strikers, a very exciting talent and news signing wtih Warnock. We also had our regular back up team. It gave us options that we have struggled to offer going into some of the games this season especially against Wigan. With a couple more signing before Tuesday we could have a solid squad for the rest of the season. We just need to keep players fit and we should have enough for the three competitions. Great to Carew back playing; he is immense when he plays. Well done the boys and great to see another youngster emerging.

You just can't be happy with a Victory. Ah well I'm happy to support everyone wearing Claret and Blue.

A very confortable victory; I was expecting a much harder test from Fulham. The formation worked very well and two back to back wins. Awesome.

Another dig at a player who does his best when he plays. Don't understand it at all. Well understand that when he plays, we generally lose, and the fact he isn't picked again and we are playing well and looking good, would suggest his best isn't good enough, anywhere near good enough. Well understand there is 10 other players on the field and a manager who makes the decisions. So to blame one player is a bit unfair. Just as one player doesn't win you a game; one player doesn't lose you them.
