We had our chances in front of goal but we didn't take then. As the commentator said "That boy was bought to score goals." and that's what Torres did. We haven't got the killer instinct infront of goal and it is could be our downfall. Saying that I thought we the better team and deserved something from the game. A bad pass from Warnock and bad luck on the rebound from Gabby and we would have got a well deserved point. Disappointed of course but liked out midfield today with NRC in the middle. Did it look to anyone else that MON was going to cry. Not sure about bringing Sidwell on but good to see Albrighton. That boy is going to be a star. Bring on Blackburn.

They are on a run that would do nicely for us starting tomorrow. They are doing a great job with the squad they have.

Very true, although what's done is done. MON has made more right decisions than wrong ones so far this season in my opinion. Everyone gets it wrong sometimes. No, I agree MON as done a great job getting us to where we are. Just felt like the goal was coming and bringing Carew on would not stop that.

What I don't understand is when we were getting battered just before they scored, MON brings Carew on for Heskey. Our midfield was being over run and it was only time before they scored. It should have been NRC to mark Fabregas but hey we all have different opinions.

Was watching a poor stream, did he dive for the freekick? Was hard to tell.

It as shown where our weakness are. Against a team who can pass the ball around we really struggle because they have moved the ball before we charge them down. Arsenal have been the much better side and deserve the win. This sort of performance will be good against other teams but not Arsenal.

I finally watched the game last night and voted Dunne as MOTM. I didn't see what most of you saw about our performance being bad. I thought we worked hard and passed the ball rather way. Te defended like heros and kept another clean sheet. Without some good goalkeeping we would have won by more. Some stats from yesterday: 1. We out passed them 2-1 yesterday. 2. We had 4 shots on goal to their 0. 3. We made nearly double the interceptions that they made. I am not sure what everyone else expects but there are not going to be 9-1 wins in the Premiership. No matter whoever you are or you play, the opposition will have time on the ball. I thought when we had it we passed better than we have most of the season. When they had it we worked very hard to get it back. I didn't see much wrong yesterday. Stoke aren't a bad team and true bunch of professiional who work hard for the club. Did anyone else notice that neither Dunne or Cueller gave one pass away yesterday. Awesome. Their disallowed goal was right to be disallowed. If not for the push on Warnock but the first pass that he tried to play to Tuncay who was offside.
