    We truly won't know how good Bannan can be until he mixes with the big boys. I hope MON is brave enough to give him a go. He might just save the club a lot of money.

    Could I ask why you think that? Is it because he has short legs and it takes him longer to get across the field? Or down to him getting knocked off the ball a lot? If he is good enough then size doesn't matter. I have seen plenty of big players who made it and they were crap. No Heskey jokes please.

    What would you say his best talents are? Again from the little I have seen he could be someone who is able to open defenses. Not saying we haven't got players who do a decent job but I feel it comes natural to him.

    Look for a thread on the young man but couldn't find one. If there is could a mod please merge them. From the bit I have seen of him I think he has a good future ahead of him but I hear others stating he is too small; he'll never make it in the top division. I am not from that particular school of thought so would like to hear recent views from people have seen him in the pre-season friendlies. Thanks,

    Did I miss something... but I haven't seen any reaction and ratings threads going on for friendlies. Would have like to know something about that game last night from some of the guys/gals who went.

    That's why I always thought Man Utd would try to sign him. I think they are missing that sort of player. I just like most on here want this resolved one way or the other.

    Just because he wishes to go doesn't mean he will go. Man City may not want to pay the asking price and if we don't take him then he will miss out on valuable pre-season fitness. I agree with you that he doesn't wish to stay then sell him but I am sure MON will want to get his monies worth.

    Who was his repsresentation at previous meeting? After today's meeting I am sure MON knows if he wishes to stay or not. If he does then I think he would have said so. As he hasn't said anything I expect it is "We will take him on tour while the people behind the scenes sort out a deal." I expect him to leave when he returns from the tour or he could even come home early.

    Spurs fielded only 3 of their best XI players playing in their usual positions, and many of their other players were aged 19 - 21. Cudicini 37, Hutton 26, Bale 21, Huddlestone 24, Jenas , Keane 30, Modric 25, Naughton 22, Kranjcar 26, Corluka 24, Walker 20 So not too many in the age bracket you mentioned. But it was a pre-season friendly and I am sure when everyone is back for you they will play much much better. Poor performanace from most of the players on show.

    They managed to beat Red Bull tonight. They came back in second half after RB put a lot of their reserves on. Very nice goal from Henry. Both Bale and Keane played well with both scoring after mistakes by RB defense. Bale was their MOTM. http://tiny.cc/sp1sf

    As someone just mentioned last year they got Barry and we got Dunne; I know who got the better deal there. I am sure MON will try to do that again this year. If selling one of our better players again helps us move on like last year then we might actually win a cup this year.

    Prince Boetang, Ireland and Richards and I'd be happy. Those for the price of Milner would be a very good days work.
