Eh is what it is. Piss poor defending. Not helped by a very shaky goalkeeper which made the whole defence more nervous. Work in progress. Bailey again showing what he’s capable off. McGinn doesn’t fit in with a team that wants to hold on to the ball for more than 3 seconds. Watkins hit and miss. Looking forward to Sunday.

He’ll be a starter under Emery. Konsa is a trainwreck with the ball and under pressure, Emery wants to play from the back. Never got why he doesn’t play more, has been solid nearly every time he’s had a chance.

Same for me. In a way I think today is good for us supporters mentally (at least me). This is going to be tough and if a manager with his record isn’t able to turn this round longish term then what’s the point?

Mentally weak. We were fine in the first half. They get the penalty and we just give up and don’t turn up for the second. Pathetic.

Villa talk needs a tranquilliser for the next week. There is no need for a full clearout, some players are not good enough but let’s see what Emery does.

First half wasn’t bad. The second half is probably one the worst halves I’ve ever seen. We’re like Brazil….. in the 7-2 game against Germany.

He's never a DM. Can fit it in in front of the double pivot behind the striker in certain matches. Be interesting to see if he manages to get himself in to the team under Emery. Good squad player to have.
