  1. to Eifell 65 - Blue You're Blues and you are ****' shite you play your games in a sty your a championship side (repeat)
  2. James is the most respectful. He doesn't act like a cock like the others. Theo can be comical as can Peter Jones, but they can be real bastards sometimes. Mostly with good reason, but there are times when they have shot people down too early, then the pitcher pulls out some great info which makes them think "oh shit, perhaps I should have waited 5 minutes".
  3. we are giving the ball away way too much it's beyond a joke now. We need a change, but I for one don't know who. the guy that brought down Coker on the counter should have been booked.
  4. that is exactly what I think he could be very good at. Our Makelele. He doesn't have to be an amazing player (I don't think makelele was amazing), but he hassles opposite player with the ball, intercepts, breaks down play and makes some good blocks and supports the defence. Our defence at the moment needs a player like that because it cannot cope on it's own. Coker is a reasonable unit and also is strong and reasonably pacey for someone of his build. He is like a Jack Russell, not massive but all muscle and energy, exactly like Makelele was. It leaves Petrov a bit more space, it allows Milner and Ashley and Downing to push up the field and do what they like.
  5. I cannot believe how convincingly NRC is winning this. Perhaps we should link this to Villa. lol I was expecting a close call at least.
  6. great piano hook in that, and solo. AHHHHHHHHHHH VIENNAAAAAAAAAAAAA (inset awesome 80's delayed reverbed drums)
  7. Pate Bacon double cheesburgers from Burger King Coke Fish 'n' Chips Cheesecake Crisps (onion rings or bacon rashers) Ketchup on Toast (with butter obviously)
  8. It's not a good reason, it's just that alcohol has been in many cultures for thousands and thousands of years. In terms of harm to the individual and to society, alcohol rates as a class A. Its stupid the amount of people that die from smoking and drinking compared to the big fat zilch that die of smoking cannabis yet they bump it up to a class b? Cannabis **** with your head big style Thats all If thats OK for you, then smoke away. Reality is a foreign country Depends who you are and how much you smoke, but it certainly has that capacity. Similarly, drinking too much too often will **** with your body, and that's more indiscriminate. All things in moderation. They say that cannabis makes you paranoid, cuts you off from society and makes you depressed. I think the second two points are down to the fact that it isn't socially acceptable. One of the main reason why it cuts you off from society and makes you depressed is because you have to do it in your home or back garden with your makes, or just have a toke on your own. I think if you toke when you are on your own then it isn't a good idea at all. It's a social drug and should be taken so, I felt like there was no better social event than me and my mates jamming away, making music, having a smoke and joking around. I think if Cannabis was more socially acceptable then I do think you would find less people becoming reclusive and depressed. I always thought cannabis was an amplifier to what you were feeling at the time. If you felt shit and had a spliff, I always actually felt shitter (apart from stress). If I felt worried and had a smoke, I would think even more about what I was worried about. If I was feeling on top of the world and had a smoke, I would feel even better. Just how I thought it worked for me. smoked it for 6 years then one day just stopped, no nicottine patches, no help, nothing. Just stopped. Used to smoke it a lot at one point. I do feel a lot better now I don't, plus it saves me £60-£80 each month.
  9. are you suggesting I vote BNP snowy? No, no, not at all. I was suggesting that your policy of forced full employment is going to cost rather a lot. :winkold: I don't want full employment but it's the case in certain areas that there are jobs out there but certain people don't want to work because they cannot be arsed. Apathy is not an excuse, nor is the fact that certain people only want to do certain jobs. Beggers cannot be choosers and long term welfare personal aren't that far away from beggers in all honesty. If there is a valid reason, through personal injury or a condition that prevents them from certain work, that is completely fine, but apathy is not and therefore they should either work or basically be made homeless. Agree with this - cant see why some people get stuff for nothing and others have to pay their way through. If you cant be arsed to work - fine - just dont expect stuff for free. We shouldnt support those who have no DESIRE to support themselves. most definitely.

  12. readin the BNP policies it's quite clear they expect Gold to start falling from the sky with the mass of the SUN. It's comepletely unsustainable. What we need to do is remove the underclass of our society, whether it be through forced work, education or a gun. One of those three though. When someones response to not working is "cos I can't be bothered" then it's quite simple.... make them.
  13. Slightly off topic but one thing I don't get is why people support our membership of an undemocratic institution that hasn't even had it's own accounts signed off for 14 years because it is so corrupt? Have we all just been going mad about corruption in our Parliament or did I imagine that? Why then is the Euro gravy train seen as some sacred cow? (Genuine question by the way) I think people are sick of politicians taking the piss out of us and Labour, Conservative and the Lib Dems are all culpable. They are now reaping what they've sown imo. like with most things the minority gets the most press. The MP's involved in the expenses scandals are the minority (albeit an ever increasing one), just like the hooligans in various football clubs. They get the attention because they are shits. What we need is to ideally disolve parliament and then just pick the best MP's that we have left and start again.
  14. the fact the BNP got in is a shame because now it will enable the other far right parties (didn't BBC some czech repub party got in?) to club together and cause a rucus. As long as we don't have this shitty Lisbon Treaty in place and the conservatives stick to their guns and have a referendum then we will be alright I think. And Tony, I do remember Blair backing down to the french because they were kicking off our farmers were getting such large subsidies were they not?
  15. It is essentially true. The amount of times I hear that the Irish, Scots etc. are "allowed" to celebrate their national day, but the English aren't is unbelievable. I can't remember the last time I was banned from having a pint on St George's day. Or the last time all the Irish etc. were given a day off from work for St Patrick's Day. It's not true at all, it's merely because St Paddy's day has become a money making scheme. clearings in the woods running around in 4 leaf clover guiness hats saying "woohoo st. Patricks day" when the closest thing they have gotten to Irishness is those skinless sausages you buy in supermarkets. Richmonds is it? It's a joke. The reason why St. Georges Day isn't celebrated is because there is nothing to focus on. It's not like we can get dressed up in Crusader gear and go fight dragons is it? Yes we can all have roast beef and watch Bridge over the River Qwai and perhaps have Eton mess for pudding but essentially there isn't a tradition of celebrating it no? I think all we can do is have parties on St. Georges day and go out on the piss, because lets face it that is all St. Patricks day is about now. Guiness, Irish hats and other peripheral rubbish and perhaps an Irish Stew as a special of the day down the local pub. St. Georges day has never been Banned!, it's just the majority of people don't unite to celebrate it.
  16. does go to show how bullshit most political statistics are.
  17. Hannan was awesome last night, I only hope his popularity increases over the next 10 months and the conservatives can do nothing but listen to him and his ideals. He appears to be far more libertarian than many of the other conservative MP's and he stands for referendums and getting as many laws and regulations out of Brussels that don't really need to be there. I am a fan of economic unity, it can only breed stability in that case. What is really hate is the idea of social laws being conceived in Brussels and put in place across europe. It is bound to fail and no wonder people are getting pissed off with it. Social laws are down to the country's parliament and moreso the local district councils, it's really the only thing that really worries me about the EU. They essentially want to turn is into one big unified state. Which unfortunately is more likely than Israel merging with Palestine (but just as tricky). The main issue with politics is no one can get their figures right and they can get a different figure about the same statistic just by interpretating the data differently. Like on question time when Farage said 75% of our laws come from the EU, then Hannan said 84% of our laws have a base that begins from the EU. Then Flint comes out and says some "independent" panel looked at this and found only 9% of our laws has an EU base. WHAT THE ****!? only one can be right surely? or NONE! Statistics and politics are irrelevant when they are posed together for me now. If a politician throws a stat at me I won't take it on board other than to realise it's probably not exactly truthful. What I look for are case studies to prove some legislation works, not a stat. 'Crime has gone down in certain areas' yeah because according to my bobby mates certain crimes have been 'reclassified' so no wonder things like burglaries are down because what actually constitues as burglary has changed. Ideally we need someone to come in and pick the best politicians from each party and flush the rest down the toilet. I have read into Hannan quite a bit and whilst he isn't perfect (the whole 'Icelands econonomy is awesome') and likening the Lisbon Treaty to the enabling act of 1933 (although significant similarities), he does stand for giving power back to the people, with more decisions at local levels, referendums and plenty more things that I totally agree with. Government is too centralised in London and unforunately the further away from London you are, the less you get. Fortunately (as I think Tony you pointed out to me), Birmingham and areas in the Midlands have benefited from EU distributed money, But I think Hannans Ideal is that local councils should be given more funding within this country to do so anyway rather than relying on the EU to do it for us. I voted conservative but most of my decision was based on the fact that Daniel Hannan appears to be the one MEP who is closest to what I want from governement, unfortunately until he gets more air time and more people listening to him, the conservatives won't be doing that.
  18. If you remove Stan in the second line it fits perfectly. I reckon that is the one for when Petrov achieves an assist or goal.
  19. I admit U2 have been shit since the late 90's but they do have some absolute stormers. S & G 'Sounds of Silence' is an awesome tune, it was in a film I watched years ago (cannot remember now) and it MADE th scene in the film. Listened to it ever since. I do need to review my Top 100, will edit this week.
  20. Going back to the Politics/Charisma discussion, I do feel that MP's and politics in general is not meant to be for everyone, certainly not to be as clear cut as watching Britains Got Talent. However, I do think that politics needs to be much more engagin than it is at the moment, we know how ITV dumbs things down and tries to simplify things but perhaps that is what the media in general need to do for the majority of the public to understand the complexity of UK politics. It appears to me you have to go searching for policy, information etc rather than it being brought to the public, I don't think politics is shouted about enough in this country unless it's negative press or some MP getting caught cottaging on Hamsted Heath in some 'moment of madness'
  21. shame our current PM has neither , but he was great on GMTV talking about Susan Boyle Tony you are so WIN!
