  1. Gap is about 0.9 between us and Germany. Equivalent of 3 more wins and some bonus points for progressing to the next round. Next week if we see a West Ham win and them going through then that should mean 0.325 of that being made up, with all else being equal. We could do with Brighton winning the home league at the very least and the rest all going through.
  2. Effectively there are 5 points to play for in each game. 2 each for the 2 legs for winning and 1 to win the overall tie. These points available are then divided by number of teams originally in the competitions for that nation. Therefore the below is the breakdown Wins England - 0.25 Italy and Germany - 0.29 Draw England - 0.125 Italy and Germany - 0.143 Round Progression England - 0.125 Italy and Germany - 0.143
  3. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and then bonus points for round progression
  4. It’s pretty crazy that we had a run of 7 games after Brentford away where we picked up only 8 points and are still only 8 points off the top. A shame in some ways but shows how far we have come.
  5. I am dreading what Ramadan will bring. Israel historically amp up their apartheid policies and actions during the holy month. Expect more innocent people killed in West Bank as well as Gaza. Expect Al Aqsa to be the scenes of some pretty horrible things.

    Unai Emery

Can someone post the interview from TNT - I haven’t seen it.
  7. The big issue for us will be not next year but the year after. A lot hinges on the success of this team and Emery staying here. If we can tie in some good commercial deals and be savvy in the market by getting frees and good young players to sell on if needed, then we will be fine.
  8. Only 4 German teams adding points to their total now. Every win is divided by 7 (original amout of German teams in the competitions). We've got 6 left with 8 that were there originally. If we can somehow get all 6 through to the next round then it means we have more teams gathering points and we will over take Germany in no time.
  9. This is massive news. I was really worried as these foot injuries can be a pain as they can reoccur etc. We need him.
  10. I mean that’s definitely Roger’s isn’t it?
  11. Thanks for this. So the 2024 is the current year right? I.e. when we have sold A Ramsey and Archer? What would be the position as of the 2023 financial results?
  12. I think I'd go for Martinez Cash Konsa Lenglet Digne Diaby Iroegbunam Mcginn Tielemans Rogers Watkins
  13. True but he's not trained today and if he's feeling pain where he had surgery that may mean it's not healed properly. I have a feeling we will get some bad news tomorrow.
  14. I think you may be right unfortunately
  15. Thanks. I'm tempted by the 15 pro but not many deals about for that don't think.
  16. Our best defence is Konsa Carlos Torres Digne imo
  17. Yeah this Man United side are famous for cutting out passing lanes…
  18. We are allowed to lose £105m over 3 years. From what’s been said on here it seems like we are in and around the £90m figure. So bit of headroom still.
  19. Just realised our back 4 when we beat City and Arsenal hasn’t played together since. Should help our defensive woes when Carlos is back.
