  1. ...Because? because Stone Cold Said So
  2. how will he be letting us down?, his loyalty is to himself and to money, next season he will be where-ever the best deal for james milner is, if that is away from villa then so be it, he is a self employed professional footballer, and will always chase the best contract, its not letting anyone down, its just the way it is How would he be letting us down? Do you not think that he owes us more than 1 good season since we payed over the odds to resurrect his career, helping him to become one of Englands most established players? Personally, I think he does. paying over the odds, and possibly selling for way over the odds, football is a business, the clubs are here to make money, you may not like that but thems the facts, players come and go, the villa remains the constant, if he goes, he goes, no amount of moaning/whingeing/whining on the interweb is going to do anything about it, best to remember how good he was while he was here than get all worked up about him leaving.

  4. Alan Wright was 3'8" and it never stopped him from being brilliant! No, lack of skill did that Hush your disrespectful mouth! :winkold: Alan Wright - Premier League title winner, League Cup winner, and key part of the defence that finished 4th and 5th under Little? That Alan Wright?! you forgot to mention his teeny tiny feet
  5. They may have a shout in a cup if they take it seriously but the £200m plus they have spent so far have got them a handful of points more and less cup success than Villa. There is a huge difference between building a team and buying a bunch of trophy players and the more of them they have the more difficult it becomes. The bottom line is that it will take a few years to build a side that can consistently challenge. Controversial opinion but you could say the same about Villa so. What cup success, we didnt win any and neither did they, we got beat in a final by the team that beat them in the semi, the first decent team we played in the other cup we lost to, cup success = win, not coming 2nd, 3rd etc
  6. How is Man City a sidewards step? :? They finished 1 place above us in the league, we got to a cup final and semi final. Currently it is a sidewards step, money isn't automatically going to buy them success. So atm they're no better then us. i dislike city with a passion, but no way would it be a sidewards step to go to them, they will spend shitloads of money, they eventually will win the league, it'll be a sad day when they do, but they will, we however will not win the league in the same time frame, if ever, so going to them would be a step up imo
  7. Dortmund is like Brum only they speak German there, big industrial place, but also a nice place to be. westfalhen (spelling?) park, where the stadium is is cool, the stadium itself is spot on, and the women in Linear Strasse will do anything for money, Wenkers, opposite the newspaper bar in the city centre just up from Leeds Strasse sells some cracking beer, the damaged church in the centre has war piccys up in it as a museum kinda thing, the trams run every two to three mins and are always on time, there used to be an outdoor swimming pool with a really high diving board where you could spend all day for a couple of bucks, and next to that was the nudist area where you could just walk around and get an eyefull, the jerrys like to let it all hang out, its only a few miles from the Mohne See, where you can go and run around doing the aeroplane while humming the dambusters theme tune, much to the annoyance of the boxheads, all in all Dortmund is the bollocks
  8. Dortmund is in the equivalent of the west mids of Germany, they even have a rival team that play in Blooo like the scummers down the road, there is no other choice.
  9. 1) Dortmund 2) Dortmund 3) Dortmund thats what I'd choose from
  10. It's all about opinions, and IF Spurs finish 4th then mine would differ from yours. Modric would only be one-third of the way into his contract and he would not kick up a fuss about staying at Spurs to compete in CL campaign opportunity that he would have played a big part in creating. Modric would only be one-third of the way into his contract and he would kick up a fuss about staying at Spurs to compete in a CL qualifier before crashing out of the competition at the first hurdle when he could be at Manure in the CL proper.
  11. when you are in the shadow of your neighbour and you manage to beat them once in a while then this is the small time thing you can do, bit like Small Heath did when they beat us. little bit sad really
  12. i would say that that was justice on old Twitcy, but I'm hoping that the justice he really gets will be handed down from a judge, the 'orrible cockny wanka'

  15. it never stopped, you'd have thought there wer'nt any other teams in the fizzy pop this season, seemed like they were on the telly more than eastenders

  17. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
  18. i like the way they reported their game this morning, "10 man city lost to Stoke" no mention of the fact that in the previous 2 games Stoke were down to 10 men and city couldnt beat them, in fact only a shit decision meant that "10 man Stoke beat City" didnt happen last time out.
  19. point B, you joined this site, do you think you are wanted here, because looking through this and other threads involving you I can see that you are not wanted, maybe there should be a poll to see, but then again, if/when shittenham tosspur loose tomorrow you wont be around for a while anyway.
  20. credit to Blackburn as well, they played their part in an amazing night at VP.
  21. If you don't know what 'wherefore' means, just don't use it. sorry adolf, it wont happen again x
