  1. There are no easy games in the premier league per say. The smaller clubs could lift if its a crucial game and may be more desperate. Bigger teams we tend to do better as they attack us more. So its a lottery these days.
  2. Well i was on my phone. I didnt have time to sit their and correct everything. I am pretty sure most people would identify that i meant to spend 5-15 million dollars rather than 1-2 million this transfer window. Especially when we really lack quality in midfield. To be fair i probably am a bit harsh on Sylla. I dont mind him as he has something our other players dont have. A physical prescence. However he is a poor footballer. I am sure you will agree with me though, if Randy had supported Lambert with a bit more funding whether it was on wages (could have had Sissoko or someone of that quality rather than 3-4 poor players who dont add much) or transfer fee, then Sylla would not have been brought in. Lack of funding forced Lambert to take a risk. This to me is what shows Randy's lack of ambition. To be honest, i dont even blame him as he did pump in the money and got burnt... but if he cannot sustain it then he must sell up and go (which is what i think his lack of spending, lack of attending etc shows). Again, this is just my opinion. Dont want to argue or convince anyone, its just how i see it mate. In the end, I appreciate Randy is running the club more astutely and trying to prevent further debt however if we get relegated. It will be devastating. We are currently in 11th position but we do have some really tough games ahead and we could easily be 15-16th within a few games. Our performances are poor and the crowd is restless. The club, the fans, we all need a lift to support the manager and players before the team slides further down the ladder. This is my concern. We need a 'meltdown' signing to lift the spirits around the squad and club to prevent us from slipping down. We wont get that without funding. I really really do hope I am wrong but i cannot see Randy providing funds (whether its wages or fees) to get the players Lambert WANTS to keep us competitive to stay up. We may sign Hoolahan on deadline day for a few million but that wont be enough. He would make a good squad player but we need more. We need 2-3 quality players to walk into our side. Hoolahan would only be a good signing if it came with a few more with real quality. Otherwise, it is another risky approach to continue the second half of the season without properly improving the squad like last January.
  3. So we didn't sign anybody last transfer window? By your own words, if we sign absolutely anybody this window then you're wrong as he will have 'spent further'. Do you even think about what you type before you do it? We may as well have signed noone last transfer window (January window.. just thought id make it clear for you). I will make my 'spent further' comment a little more clear for you as well. I meant i will be proven wrong if Randy provides a decent amount of funds to support his manager in purchasing 'experienced' proven players he wants to bring in and not settle for 3rd/4th choice players on his list. As in reasonable amounts of money/wages on proven players.. not 1 million on two woeful players (1 on loan mind you). Or rather another lower league signing who we hope may become good (otherwise seen as a gamble or risk signing) to keep us from yet another impending relegation battle. This will be our fourth in a row if we do set down that path. This is not an attack on Lambert as he can only spend what he is given. Lambert made it clear in the latest press conference as he mentioned looking for experienced players that hes looked or enquired about. Yet he said it was not 'possible'. I am happy to wait and see what happens by the end of the window but i dont believe i will be proven wrong. Just my opinion. Dont see why people want to attack others for having an opinion you disagree with. But i guess you prefer to be a smart arse and attack someones intelligence to support your argument.
  4. Where have we heard that before Lexicon? Oh yeah. Last few transfer windows. Its clear Randy does not want to spend any further. Happy to heat humble pie and be proven wrong but in sure i wont be.

    Joe Bennett

hopefully he has matured a bit. Give him another go. I cant stand watching the Moon Shadow at left back anymore.
  6. I presume you're an avid watcher of Bradford? :-) No. He just doesn't look good enough. I have seen him play a few times and dome highlights. Hrmau do well in league 1 but he won't cut it in premier league. Hence why Huddersfield are signing him. Guess most clubs in premier league agree with me
  7. That's right. I agree. He got burnt. He doesn't want to put any more money in. Doesn't come to home games anymore. Shows zero interest in the club. Just sell the club then Randy. Just my opinion of him boiling over in the wrong thread. I'm drunk and its 3am. Never helps. Frustrated. Sorry all.
  8. Personally hope he sells up to someone unwilling to put any of their own money into the club. The belief from people that it's some God-given right to have tens of millions spent on transfers each and every window is pretty sickening. I suppose football has been heading this way for years, though. People accepting mediocrity at this club is the problem.
  9. And you know for a fact that this is the reason? You know for a fact that we were ever in for him? Read the first line again. We dont sign quality anymore. Weve had record losses. Worst home records. I'm just disappointed we don't sign these proven quality players anymore. Defour or any other player.
  10. Sarcastic warriors are out defending our owner who has put us in a financial hole and turned us to relegation contenders.
  11. Its not about not getting defour. Its just another good player were not in for due to wages or fees. We will sign another syllable and Dawkins to 'lift' the club. But hey some of you are happy we have turned into relegation battlers with a Wigan like budget...
  12. Wont be Aston villa though. Will be red bull villa playing in white and red
  13. Were not slagging the club. Just Randy. His constraints is forcing our manager to buy lower league players
  14. Red bull would be a disaster. Randy. Sell to someone rich who will protect our club.
  15. Hope not. Wells isn't good enough
  16. Spewing. Cant say in surprised. Our owner doesn't give a shit
  17. We won't be getting any good players will we :/
  18. Nzogbia 60k Bent 80k Given 55k Hutton 40k Not MASSIVE wages if they were really great players... but for those 4 who are average at best..... wow... Randy didnt learn his lesson after the MON era did he,.........
  19. waste of time this thread. No chance. Theres also been no real reports of it.
  20. so almost all McLeish signings.. ah well.. he will have to cop that..... we warned Randy not to hire him!
  21. Defour plays quite deep in midfield. He's not a number 10. What you can read into those Champions League stats is that Porto think he's good enough and trust him to regularly start in the champions league! If he was tearing it up in the champions league with goals and assists from central midfield, he would be linked with Real Madrid not us. Well this is true. The opposition Porto has played is tougher than most Premier League clubs so in that regard he has done well.
  22. You've got Defour's Champions League Stats there. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/steven-defour/leistungsdaten/spieler_33866_gesamt.html He's actually played 57 league games since joining Porto. I can't comment on his level of performance but it seems this season is the only one he has not really been involved. Yeah the website i got it off didnt have his pork and cheese stats (and its also an irrelevant league in quality) so i used his CL appearances.
  23. haha to be fair as i copy pasted, It appeared nicely in a box. Then i hit post and it was like the matrix.
