Defensively the best effort I've seen for quite a while. They concentrated for a full 100 minutes which is crucial. The players have completely bought in with Emery now and understand that it's not a rigid system but one that allows them to play exciting football if they're focused and patient. I thought Martinez really showed himself as a supreme shot stopper today and Mings, Konsa and Moreno were completely on their game. Young struggled a bit on Chillwell but got in his head and turned the tides well. McGinn was superb today and what a goal, and Ramsey looked like a mini McGinn the way he was turning out of traffic. Absolutely beautiful outcome and finally we see Villa grasping an opportunity to take what's in front of them rather than choke. Onwards and upwards I hope!
