I wouldn't mind seeing him on the left for a bit. He's more than capable of doing the same sort of stuff as Moreno does, but he just looks awkward on the right and always seems to tie himself in knots trying to beat his man.

I was in the Trinity yesterday and based on zero prior experience i thought the atmosphere was pretty good but there was not as much singing as I expected there would be. Well for my first ever experience at Villa Park I was pretty chuffed to see a win, even if I would have liked to see us put away a few more chances. McGinn my man of the match by some length - he's a real creator when played higher up the pitch. Very enjoyable, but incredibly cold afternoon. Was super impressed with the staff at VP - all very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately getting home on the train was a bit of a dog's breakfast. Have enjoyed my couple of days in Brum. It's a very interesting place (from what little I've seen) with a very vibrant, diverse population. I'd love to come back again one day ... But maybe in a warmer month!

The contact on McGinn was soft but was clear contact all the same. Whether or not it would have been called a foul elsewhere on the pitch is debatable but the contact impeded McGinn from having a shot so fair penalty in my view

We need players with a bit of courage to run the ball through midfield. Otherwise there's very little purpose to anything we do. Ramsey can do that but has shown very little intent so far.

Bailey hits bar, no luck on the rebound. 5 minutes later Jorginho hits bar, luckiest rebound possible. Overall Arsenal deserved the 3 points but that was a pretty gutting 5 minutes. I think Emery made a hash of the subs today. Luiz was the only player relieving the pressure for us by running the ball through the midfield and probably our best player at the time.
