    Fantastic first 30 minutes and then they came into it in the final 15. We’ve done ever so well though, just a few sloppy passes letting us down. Need to keep the intensity up and keep our concentration. We can do this.

    It’s a game I honestly believe we can get something from if we play to our full potential. I think we just lack belief, especially when we go behind. Hopefully the Emery factor and presence on the touch line will help now.

    Exactly this. Young players will have watched their heroes and/or elite players growing up, so would understandably want to play for them.

    Getting used to them both now and my initial reactions were perhaps a little negative. I’m sure either will be decent enough for us once chosen.

    No it wasn’t at all, but some people will say it was. Pretty sure most of the players signed by Gerrard was because of the “Gerrard factor” and the excitement of playing for him/his club.

    Hi there, apologies for the delay in replying. A quick google search of “Aston Villa crest ideas” (which is what I did) and you find it straight away. Fan designed by AEGON. I like it obviously and am now using it here until I get bored of it.

    Something to thank Gerrard for? I assume Gerrard recommended him and then he only signed for us because of Gerrard? Seems a real talent but so early in his development to really know how good he can be.
