  1. Hahahaha! Drat's above post inlight of Gringo's apt comments seem to sum up the VT word of the day!
  2. If he does want to go and thats a big if, I'd sell him to United for less.
  3. Just to give you something visual, if we go for a halfway house and say that we’re in just over a trillion pounds worth of debt, then it would be a little bit bigger than this.
  4. As a PS3 owner, could somebody tell me what the 360's Microsoft points are?
  5. Jesus **** H Christ. That’s an awful lot of debt.
  6. AV isn’t a proportional voting system, but a majority based one.
  7. Anything specifically stood out so far, game/story wise?
  8. Is she some sort of groupie?! Ha ha! Nah, she works for a company that produces various paraphernalia for console games.
  9. My sister has had a lot of dealings with the Rockstar boys. Her stories make me want to have a career change.
  10. It must be the tash that does it for them.
  11. Thats pretty much as I see it too. Wonder how co-operative the unions will be to change As it'll more than likely mean thousands of people losing there jobs I dare say the Unions won't be overly pleased. Expect numerous strikes, massive disruption and mass protests. Well if you don’t invest money into new jobs and if you’d had a tax on jobs through a NI rise, then how on earth can you expect the private, wealth creating, sector to pick up the slack from the inevitable losses in the public sector? Although the first public job losses of the new government pleased me- seeing all the likes of Bradshaw, Balls and Harman tossed out of a job.
  12. We do have a great balance about usat the moment.
  13. Just caught the tail end of something on the Beeb. It looks like a Lib/Lab pact + rainbow coalition from what I heard.
  14. A new addition to Godwins law. “Talk enough about politics on the internet and the probability of the discussion descending into premature ejaculation jokes becomes 1”. Anyway, back on topic. How long do you all reckon the Lib Dems can keep playing both sides before opinion goes against them?
  15. Oops. Sorry, giving you the clap might be seen as rather inappropriate under the circumstances. I think I’d have cried if nobody had have spotted that one!
  16. I quite liked that one. Don’t worry Snowy, its happened to us all at some point. *Looking very confused* WTF? **** me, I know it's a football forum but I don't know how we can go from Tony not reading and understanding my post to me sneezing before the pollen count gets high in just a couple of posts. Unless there was some Tintin reference and we've all got our knickers around Peter's twist. Look, its ok, you’re amongst friends. You can talk to us about it. (BTW, "sneezing before the pollen count", hahahahahaha! I'm having that!)
  17. I quite liked that one. Don’t worry Snowy, its happened to us all at some point. you speak for yourself .. I'm still waiting to even get that close to a woman You shouldn’t mock my affliction. I had it so bad a few years ago that I was hospitalised. It was touch and go at one point.
  18. I quite liked that one. Don’t worry Snowy, its happened to us all at some point.
  19. Do you really think party tribalism will diminish? Everybody hates each other- working with each other, having it all go tits up and then blaming the other side will only exacerbate it! Not that I think we'll see a proportional system mind.
  20. It’s very interesting to hear some of the cabinet talking about a rainbow coalition and then contrast that with the view amongst Labour back benchers that the idea is nonsense.
  21. Their patience is no doubt born out of extreme tyranny from their own past. Edit: And yes, yes, yes, I know, I've already kicked myself in the shins for it.
  22. The Lib Dems got 5 million votes. The Conservatives and Labour took 18 million on the basis of keeping a majority electoral system. As for the politicians- you’re right, I’m not anti-politician. I look at the ones who abused the system and I applaud the action taken by all the parties in removing them and the electorate for booting them out.
  23. Well then they’re the idiots. You cannot effect change without first having power. If the Lib Dems want to see their policies implemented, then they have to be in government. If they don’t crave power, then what is their point?
