  1. I'm in.

1: 0.25 points per carry should be awarded to RBs - No (I'd rather decrease the QB completion than increase this).
2: PPFD (point per first down) instead of PPR (point per reception) - Yes
3: Addition of a line backer spot? - No
    4: Flex to be W/T - Yes

     Couple of other things.

    1. Trade review time. Currently set for 2 days and people to vote on it I believe. Suggestion to change to automatic approval. We haven't had any collusion incidents for a few years, and if there is it can be brought up in here and reversed by the commissioner if needed. There was a situation last year where I traded someone (can't remember who with) who played on the Thursday, and received someone playing on the Sunday and it caused an issue.

    2. Waivers. Currently set at 3 days. Suggestion to change to 2 or 1 day(s). Will increase the churn of players during the week.

The trade feature on this is a bit janky. So if my trade with @rhyscartwright_avfc goes through he will have CMC for the weekend but I won’t have had Chase for last nights game?

does that mean he could theoretically get the points for Chase last night and CMC this weekend?

I don't mind delaying it until next week if you want?

Not sure how that would work in practice. @Beastmix might need to manually cancel it, then if we put it through again tomorrow it should go through after the games this weekend?

Sorry but I don't see why the who gets a 1st down gets rewarded. 1st Down 9yds carry RB1 2nd 1yd RB2. Which player had most 'impact' on game?

We used to have PPR but that seemed to over value RBs, especially the work horse types

I'd actually argue the guy who got the first down had the most impact but I can see where you're coming from. And that is a very extreme example you've used.

In theory standard favours RBs, PPR favours WRs, 0.5 PPR should be about even. This year has been shit for highly drafted RBs in the main. Point per carry definitely favours RBs.

As with all these suggestions go with majority at the end of the year.

Not sure why this is happening. Just put in the trade request on the Yahoo site and MAYBE, if you don't get a response within a reasonable time, then bump them with a DM?

Right, let's ready ourselves for week 4! (already!?)

I know I've sent a few DM's out this week but the reason I do that rather than just send the request is I find you're a lot more likely to get some explanation/reasoning, find out what the other person is thinking and eventually come to an agreement than just sending blind trade requests. I've certainly had more success that way across the years anyway.

This league has always had minimal trade activity.

Duly noted. I'll add it to the suggestions list for next pre-season.

You're right though, RBs should have been getting points per carry, which is standard in PPR. Bit of oversight on my part, so I apologise for that.

Wouldn't be right to amend it now.

AFAIK points per carry is not standard in any format. I've only ever seen it in this league. Going back to @Tubby's point, both players got 55-60 yards and a TD and got a similar amount of points. If we want to reflect real life football does that not make sense?

One thing I have seen elsewhere which could be interesting is using PPFD (point per first down) instead of PPR. It then is more closely aligned to rewarding players that actually impact the game, no matter what position they play.

  6. Out of all those the only thing I've got a suggestion for is waiver period.

This season I think it was normal waivers on Wednesday morning but then anyone dropped wouldn't be available to pick up until the Sunday. I believe their is a setting whereby after Wednesday everyone dropped can be on 1 or 2 day waivers? Pretty sure that's what we had before so it was Wednesday-Friday-Sunday.

Everything else I'm happy to go with consensus.

I see @rhyscartwright_avfcfinally signed a kicker - who proceeded to kick over 200 yards and outscore CMC!!!

I haven't had to until this week. Either won, or lost by such a margin it wouldn't have made a difference.

Mind you, still might not. Need Golladay to do **** all. Mahomes back to being shit and Jonathan Taylor putting up nearly 60 points will likely contribute to my downfall.

  8. As far as I'm concerned the only reason a trade should be vetoed is collusion (which this league has had before).

That trade isn't, even if it may be a bit lop-sided. To be honest trade winners can completely swing 2 weeks down the line anyway if injuries happen or production falls off a cliff.

Also, may be one for next year. The trade processing time should be reduced. One day is sufficient, if there is collusion it will clearly be brought up by everyone and then the commissioner can edit teams if necessary. While on the subject the waivers could do with adjusting next year. Players who are dropped after the initial waiver period can't be picked up until gameday, would be better if waivers were available everyday after the weekend, or even Wednesday-Friday-Sunday.

  9. I know the Giants are bad and its's week 1 but we actually look good for the first time in forever. If Teddy keeps up that form we're in with a great shout of a good record.

Good news for Jeudy, just an ankle sprain. Nice to see Von's sack dances again after missing him last year. Fangio actually going for it on 4th down too, more of that please.

  10. @Beastmix Not sure if it is too late to adjust now but just noticed the schedule in our fantasy league hasn't been updated to correlate with the extra game.

We have the final in Week 16, should be 17. Quarter-Finals in Week 14 when some teams have a bye.

Leave the last week (18) free, as always, to avoid issues with starters being rested.

If you can, just need to add in an additional league game pushing the playoffs back a week.

As the waiver window doesn't start until Thursday, you can also claim back the player you drop without penalty.

This bit's not true. If you drop someone, you have to wait until the following waiver period to claim them back.
