  1. Depends if you like the accent I guess Can't bear Maximo Park for example
  2. Without wishing to be horrible, why are people shocked when a flood plain... floods, Even from a simple aerial photo like that on the left, it's clearly an alluvial flood plain and on the right, it's flooded right up to the tree line. The trees are the clever bastards here Its the same in the UK we're always building of flood plains, there's a housing estate up the road in Formby as you enter the village that is currently being built ON A FLOODPLAIN. It got refused planning permission a good number of times for that reason but hey ho away they go
  3. I changed cars this week, I'm going to look for somewhere to regas mine in the morning
  4. When the culture is a constant diet of Neighbours, Home and Away, Prisoner Cell Block H and Skippy you don't expect cultural diversity really do you?
  5. You realise we're all being encouraged to do this for the sake of the environment
  6. 66% of the adult population is fully vaccinated. Very few countries are currently vaccinating under 18s so a figure of the whole population is totally misleading
  7. Firstly as already pointed out, your figures are wrong and secondly the reason they aren't as high as you'd imagine is largely down to non-government factors in all honesty. It's down to idiots not wanting to get vaccinated. I doscovered today that we have an entire department of five women in our work, who ALL refuse to get the vaccine on the grounds "It's experimental". I think they've all come to some collective group think. One of them told me today that she might have had it by now, if she hadn't been told she had to have it as she doesn't like being told to do anything. Yes I know the complete logical fallacy contained in there but they aren't alone.
  8. Already started, Bulgaria redlisted UK about an hour ago
  9. Yep that's on my list too after hearing something about it yesterday on t'radio
  10. But weren't swedes looking to relax the social distancing rules as they could go back to normal and stand further away from people?
  11. Track and Trace. There was a period, only a few weeks back, where the numbers were really bottoming out and I was getting contacted by T&T for either driver or passenger details almost daily, either by National Teams as usual or I also started to be contacted by Local council run teams too, for the first time ever. Now the figures are rocketing? ... nada, zilch, zip, sod all from them They actually seemed to be getting to a point of usefulness and contacting us within a couple of days of contact (instead of the usual 9.5 - 12 days later) I'm assuming their lack of contact in recent weeks is because they are overwhelmed with T&T App pings and can't cope with anything else I heard a story on the radio before that 10% of those in the meat packing industry are currently in self-isolation and meat shortages may occur
  12. Just like a good Tommy, over the top.
  13. I call that rough Northern Scouse, it's the one I don't like either. Though Carragher himself is a nice enough bloke irl
  14. Discogs You might just want to consider re-releasing that yourselves! There is clearly demand for that Nice cover btw
  15. I suspect you'll be hearing Yellow Submarine for days to come
  16. Spill the beans, name of band and album? My advice would be to only licence the rights for a particular release and for a particular timeframe and not in perpetuity (or even close to that)
  17. Independent from what, doctoring? (not aimed at you obvs @Seat68)
  18. Why bother going to NI? There are no restrictions from the ROI .gov.uk Fly with two different carriers and I doubt they'll know. Alternatively, stay legal and buy some new tea towels for ten days
  19. Underneath the selective breeding, dogs are just dogs. They smell dog not poodle and its smell I think that they go on
  20. Nah the ones I heard said "steak bien cuit est un crime"
  21. Good to see that you've come around to the mane consensus on this issue.
  22. Unless it was spoken by the actual RIngo Starr obviously because he says nothing but bollocks (and that's without my B***les hatred) RIngo is old school South Liverpool Scouse. Pretty working class, there's a good reason they picked Michael Angelis to replace Ringo as the Thomas the Tank Engine narrator, they would be really hard to tell apart in a blind test. Born within streets from each other in the DIngle area same era they sound VERY similar. Modern Scouse is very different to that but again is still softer in the South than the North. I'd say there were a number of different current Scouse dialects and one of them is horrible to listen to
  23. I think you're saddled with that for some time yet
  24. Vegan in work refuses to have it because "It's still experimental." His missus who was the living embodiment of the new age drippy hippy but turning full on Nazi by the week, is the same.
