  1. Bloody Hell, thats probably the worst thing you've ever posted, they are probably thrird on my all time most hated bands list (you all know the two above them) Back in my DJing era I used to play at a very well knoiwn Alternative / Goth club on a Friday night (Planet X for those that care). Such was my dislike for NMA that I had a sign made for behind the decks which said.. "No F***ing New Model Army". One did have to draw the line somewhere and those cloggy twunts were never getting played
  2. I've had a break from the record cleaning for a few weeks due to excessive laziness. Decided to get back on it tonight, so first up... The Room's debut Album - Indoor Fireworks. The first lineup of the band which wasn't as good as the second incarnation imo but this album still points the way to their final and finest album. Standout Track... Things Have Learned to Walk that Ought to Crawl.
  3. Major manufacturer going to announce thousands of job loses shortly and put blame on Brexit as they locate. Not sure who atm.
  4. I was going to suggest that looks like a student flat but the Kitchen Roll rules that out
  5. Essentially they are Trotskyite entryists from the NFP / UKIP
  6. You know when you send someone an email and you pre empt their next response by answering the question they will undoubtedly ask next and they respond asking the question anyway... well that
  7. no room for Swedish House Maffia in your heart? Hop not
  8. Oh man, there’s no way to even respond to that
  9. I'll wager it does. Do you listen to DAB radio? I often wonder if you finish reading sentences
  10. Why do you think this is one of their lesser known songs? This one proves they could actually be very shite.
  11. Our public service broadcasting would either die overniight or the government would have to fund it. If the government funds it, it can never be the impatial BBC that we want it to return to being. Either way it dies and your life gets worse, whether you realise that right now or not
  12. The clock in my car runs fast by about a minute a month, I never change it until we gain or lose an hour. I just know how fast it's currently running and recalculate in my head, it kind of drives me a bit nuts but if I change the clock all the time that drives me nuits too I can't imagine actually setting a clock deliberately fast, thats just odd. I want to know what the actual time is
  13. Haven't we already done that? Isn't it futile because it's the default option
  14. I never use weather forecasts,I don't think I should have to pay the part of my taxes that goes to fund the Met Office
  15. Wiki Its not just a British thing as some politicians would have you believe. Its a fairly accepted model across the world. Unless of course you happen to be Nigel Farage, The DUP, The ERG, other Tory throbbers Rupert Murdoch, any of the other dispicable Media Barons an on and on It's only even in our thoughts because of the above named Twunts and their like. Yes every dog has it's day and is right once in a while but that many dogs having a good day all at once is unprecidented. If they all think scrapping the licence fee is a good idea, you can pretty much guarantee it isn't
  16. This is correct, changed in the 2003 Communications Act. It does mean you can't watch the tennis live on Amazon Prime though

The Daily by the New York Times popped up on my Spotify Daily Drive playlist today. Currently doing a series on Europe which I found quite interesting, though I disagreed with some of what was being said. 20 mins of topical stuff 5 days a week
