Everyone seems so certain they're going to announce 3 signings in one go today. No team done it before I don't think and i wouldn't be shocked if we don't actually announce anything today. Gestede medical but we've seen before it can take a few days after before the announcement. Who knows what's going on with ade. Veretout medical but who knows what's happening there. Back on topic theres a rumour that the pic is actually just sponsor related corporate stuff which would make sense as players are usually snapped at bmh and you can see two people standing together, possibly two from the sponsor company. I hope this one comes off cus some of you are going to look like right mugs if it doesn't

Thing is, if the veretout deal falls through which is looking very possible then we have signed ayew and crespo after we lost benteke and delph. When we lost them we all thought the worst, does ayew and crespo change that much? Everyone is saying what a wonderful window it is but allot of it is just rumour for now

You mean like Ayew and Amavi didn't happen because of exactly the same thing? If the player is at BMH and its clear we want him. I'm sure a agreement will be reached. True but Nixon was confident on amalvi and ayew, doesn't seem to think this one will happen and he's been spot on so far. Doesn't quite feel like the amalvi and ayew deal, no ones actually confirmed he is in Birmingham and I just don't see this one conning through. We'll see though

It's weird, getting lots of info on gestede, ade etc but none of the journalists are mentioning veretout. You'd expect he would be in before gestede too. Given Alan nixons comments on it I just don't see this happening

Gutted he usually knows his stuff. Definitely seems to be a strange one. They seem a bit vocal at their end so maybe we are just being used to fish out a bigger club and bid, not Leicester? Strange he is on his travels though

I would like to see libor involved. As had been said contributes a lot, with creativity around him this guy can play. 3 goals already in pre season with an assist too. Might not be first choice but really important player for me. A shame some just want shiny new things sometimes

Have to say I'm not seeing much better yet and have watched each friendly in full. I've seen him duck out of two combatative headers, one he did well to catch the Walsall lad back up, I think.the other Richards had to cover. I've also seen him play blind passes to the feet of the opposition on more than one occasion,not just misplaced but without looking. I'm have also seen a good turn of pace and some good interceptions but I can't see I'm as confident in him as some of you seem to be. If Bennett put tonight's performance in youd be saying he'd done OK, bottled a few challenges and needs to move on! Wobble

Thing is that is football manager have v stuff at this stage surely? To basically buy the majority of a team starting 2 weeks before the season starts? It isn't going to happen is it? Regardless of flee need for it. I'm hoping for 2 strikers and a very good midfielder. Then I hope Sherwood will have a gk and a cb ready for jsnuary. The hope is that will get is through the season for me. Does anyone see us signing 5-6 first team players in the next few weeks honestly?

Would they? To me it would seem like we've taken the cheapskate option to replace Benteke if those are our two forward signings. I really don't think money is the issue here. It could well be that Sherwood simply has a massive hard on for Adebeyor and likes this kids potential. We don't have to be happy about that, but that's just as likely at this present stage. You've got a massive hard on for hard on comments havent you! Lol Just noticed ciaren Clark only has one year left on his contact, who has been managing these and why is that another we are in a dangerous position with? Can't blame faulkener any more
